they make the cancellation imposible.. very disappointed. edit: not only did I was promised to have my subscription issue resolve and cancelled.. They still did not cancel my subscription and kept charging me for the next month.

UPDATE: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE. THEY WILL REFUSE REFUNDS EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE THE SERVICES. THIS IS PREDATORY. Cerebral is predatory which is shameful since they are preying on those looking for therapy to sort things out or have mental issues. I signed up for the service on Jan 20. During signup the app would not verify my insurance. After multiple emails I finally got a response stating they do not accept my insurance. I immediately prompted to cancel my service. Well here’s how they get you. You can’t call and cancel and the initial email isn’t enough to cancel. You have to fill out a form and wait for someone to get to you. If you are billed during that timeframe, good luck getting a response on getting a refund. I’ve emailed support multiple times about a refund with absolutely no response.

I was very concerned with the care I received with Cerebral. The first provider I had was very quick to rush me off the phone. Appointments are supposed to be 30 minutes and they never lasted longer than 15, yet I was prescribed a new medication every time we spoke. It felt like she wanted to just shove a new pill down my throat and move on. When I finally requested a new provider to help with ADHD/focusing issues I was assigned to someone who was half asleep during our appointment. She called me TWO MORE times over the next week to "confirm" what I told her in our appointment. To me, this says she was not listening. THEN she finally prescribes me something, and my PHARMACY had to tell me that there were major interactions with my other medications and it was not safe to take. Thank god my pharmacy had the common sense to tell me this or else who knows what would have happened to me. I find this all very concerning, and on the verge of medical malpractice or negligence. I reached out to support to speak with someone over the phone but they are apparently only available by email and not very quick to respond. This left me feeling hopeless and unable to get the care I needed. The concept of this service is great, but they are very unorganized and lack professional providers. I would never recommend this to a friend.

I’ve given this service two chances and had a horrible time each time. I met with a care counselor once and after that, she either quit/I was randomly assigned a new counselor? The “counseling” is subpar at best. The first woman who helped me with my medication was great. The second woman… not so much. She was rude about the first time I canceled. Her phone connection kept cutting out, so it was more of a hassle than anything. I canceled after 2-3 months the first time, due to it being overly expensive for mediocre therapy and overpriced medication. This time, I canceled within a month. Again, too expansive and rude providers. To cancel, you have to email and fill out a survey, which states you will be contacted within 48 hrs. Both times I’ve cancelled, I’ve had to several emails to get any type of response about the status of my cancellation. I asked if I would be charged for this month (tried to cancel on the 21st, no response, now will be canceled on 25th) and have not received a direct answer about this either. Honestly, you’d be better off with any other service.

I was initially happy since I was scheduled to see a provider the same day I signed up. However she decided I had been misdiagnosed for years and needed to be upped to a psychiatric NP but in the mean time she wanted to up my depression medication until I could see the new provider well the depression medication she called in is a lower dosage than I was already taking. So now I am dealing with a lower dose of depression medication & anxiety medication plus I had to put my beloved companion dog down. I have reached out many times for help and keep getting a virtual answer bot called Juniper that claims he is a real person. So far I have received no help what so ever except to bill my account. They keep lying to me and misleading me I will either be dead or hospitalized because they only care about money!

When I signed up I signed on for a therapy plan but without my knowledge I was automatically put on a medicine only plan and was later told it was because there were no therapists available at the moment but instead of letting me know before I made my account and paid for the subscription I was automatically put on the medication only plan. Then after my first and only visit with my provider I was charged $124 for the visit and when I called to ask why I was being charged when I was initially told there would be no copay I was told that my insurance would not cover the cost of the visit. I was not given any warning that I would be charged for the visit or that my insurance was incompatible and the support staff were not helpful at all. The support chat also took days to respond to my messages and the cancelation process has been a nightmare. Communication with this company is abysmal and you can expect to receive expensive surprise bills.

This platform is completely unreliable. I signed up in November of 2021 and waited two weeks before I was able to see a provider. When I saw the provider, she told me she could not see me. When I was assigned a different provider, it was a month and a half later. Since then, I've had providers and caregivers miss appointments, lack of availability for providers in my area (Chicago, IL), and passive-aggressive responses from my "care team". If you're seeking serious mental health help, and not just looking for a $200 Adderall prescription, this is not the service to use.

I keep being charged and whenever I try to cancel , the app says I haven’t completed a survey. This is outrageous.
