Honestly wouldn’t recommend, my payment wasn’t due til the end of July, as soon as July came they constantly were trying to take 85$.

Frustrating and, ultimately, useless. For brevity, a list: -Calendars showing counselors and prescribers booked out for 3+ months, and having to specifically reach out to ask for an appointment sooner. -Care counselor giving the most basic, useless, "fluffy" responses to everything. -No longer being able to get one of my prescriptions bc they're not legally allowed to prescribe it anymore. -Having to jump through hoops trying to find a pharmacy that will fill prescriptions from them at all. -Being billed for a month where I received no services at all, after having been told that wouldn't happen. -Having to ask questions multiple times in chat before they were addressed or even acknowledged. I'm only giving two stars instead of one because my prescriber herself was very nice and understanding, the two times I met with her.

I've been using Cerebral for at least 6 months. My therapists have been good, as have my prescribers. For the care itself, I'd give the app a 4/5. However, I've had so many issues with this app that it hardly gets a 1/5. Appointments can only be scheduled one at a time (if you need a routine standing appointment like I do, this is not the app for you). The calendar glitches *all the time* (even today, I had to send a message to my team chat to help me with this, it's essentially a given that you will not be able to make an appointment right away, and I have ADHD, so I hated needing to *remember* to make an appointment because the app failed every week). This has *caused* me stress because I would never know if I could see my care team without going out of my way, often skipping lunch to see them during work hours despite asking my coordinator to only match me with someone with regular evening and weekend hours. If I couldn't see my therapist on a given week, nobody reached out to me. I eventually asked, after not being able to schedule 3 or 4 sessions that I paid for, if I could get refunded. They said I should have messaged them at the time, but they can't issue refunds afterwards. So I lost maybe a month's worth of sessions, hundreds of dollars that they just kept. They advertise support for those with ADHD, but this app had me push my limits to make up for their failings, and still ended with them keeping my money. It's exploitative. Your care coordinator is supposed to be your contact to help you navigate the app and serve as a go-between for you and your care team. I often went days without getting responses. Very frequently, like 70% of the time, someone would be filling in for my care coordinator, and it was clear they weren't reading the chat or bothered to read my questions thoroughly. It can take *weeks* to solve a problem this way. Calling to complain might have you on hold for a while, but you'll likely get your issues solved faster that way. To top it off, I have ADHD and was glad I could get controlled prescriptions through the app. Last month I was told that controlled substances will no longer be offered after October. So now I'm tasked with finding another doctor willing to prescribe them to me (it was hard enough already). I'm only sticking with the app right now because I like my prescriber and am hoping to find an effective treatment plan before October. But I switched to the meds only plan because in trying to get therapy, I got more stress than when I started. I spent so much time trying to get help, it felt like work, and I'm especially upset because the way Cerebral advertises itself is that it provides a team to work *with* you. But even giving incredibly clear instructions over and over, I couldn't get what I needed, like a therapist with reliable hours (I work a 9-5, it shouldn't be so hard to understand I have hours where I am always available and never available and work around that). I would not recommend this app. Once I find an effective treatment with my prescriber, I will be leaving.

Cerebral is not the place to go, trust me. Even if they take your insurance, which they probably won't, you'll have to deal with inconsistency all throughout. You may not be able to schedule an appointment with your therapist or care provider as often as you pay for and, despite the option to leave messages, they usually don't respond in a timely fashion. I have a prescription through the service and they prescribed me the lowest dose possible, far below the regular starting dose for the medication. I'm a MH professional and I was trained in diagnosis and assessment, and they do not instill confidence in their clients or show transparency in decision-making with this process. I now have to wait month-by-month to increase the dose, while paying for each month, just to get to the starting dose. I was then told they don't know if they'd be "allowed" to increase my dose without approval and they'd let me know. Almost a month passed and I haven't gotten any updates. No calls from them or my pharmacy. I reached out when I had 5 days of medication left and haven't heard back in 4 days. I now have 1.5 days of medication left, no response in messages, and a vague email from someone else about a broken account. Up until now I've dealt with the issues because they've at least allowed me to get the medication I need but it's NOT acceptable for the client to have no idea WHEN or IF their medication will be refilled! You cannot let people go days or weeks without their medication! Unacceptable. Even if you don't have insurance, it's probably cheaper to go to a therapist or a provider without it. Their "weekly" therapy is like $300/mo. If you see a local therapist and pay up-front, they might charge $100-150 per session. Virtually the same thing except you will actually get someone that's consistent outside of Cerebral. OH and, after tinkering with the plans and finally settling on something that works, I get a company-wide email that says their policy has changed and after October they won't be able to prescribe my medication anymore. Ha! What a huge waste of my time. That's the only reason I use this service. Now I have to waste more time looking for other providers.

Cerebral's care counselors do not follow-up when they say they will. I was told I would be receiving information via chats and I never did on a few occasions in the month that I was using their services. They prescribe quickly but do not follow-up with you to provide meaningful service. While I had a good experience with my provider, she kept referencing an intake form that I had submitted over a year ago. When she said that my Care Counselor would send me a new intake form, she never did, and I never heard from my Care Counselor via chat. 6/2/22 Response to their comment below: I have already contacted @cerebral.com. They were unsympathetic to the fact that my Care Counselor did not reach out to me when I was told she would with care information.

It was just ok. The prescriber is a waste of money. Barely discussed anything. Took note of my anxiety, Insomnia & depression, but couldn't prescribe anything but depression meds. I'd rather stick with my MD. The therapist was very good & will continue with him & see if he can help. He was engaging, and seemed to have a plan moving forward.

They couldn't help me. They took my money and then said they can't help me that I need to see a doctor in a office hell I go to the damn appointments but the psychiatrist is on a little bitty tablet that she kept looking well was never lookin at me hell it's like that damn doc was not paying attention to me or my words but F it I'm now waiting to see if I get my money back before I go telling it all. The doc I was talking about was at a clinic these docs and therapist, counselors said they couldn't couldn't help me. I'll be back. Let's see if I get my money 🤑 back

SCAM!! All those positive reviews are all fake! THIS IS A SCAM!!! You can’t fill the prescription. They send it in, but because they aren’t doctors, they can’t prescribe anything. Then they Dick you around until the subscription is charged again! Horrible!
