Total sham. Very little support. No follow through.

SCAM.
Makes the proving identity part nearly impossible to get pass, wont answer emails or calls. Deletes negative facebook comments but has no issue taking your money. HOW ARE YOU A MENATL HEALTH COMPANY WHEN YOU ADD MORE STRESS AND ANXIETY to someone reaching for help at their lowest moments?? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

Cerebral is a scam
Cerebral is a scam. They allow you to sign up and pay for services they literally cannot offer. I put down money to speak with a therapist 1x per week, and after my first session (which took 3 weeks to schedule) the next available appointment wasn't for another 3 weeks. After calling the care team, I was informed it's almost impossible to meet with a therapist every single week (like I paid for) unless I bopped around to a different therapist each week. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money. The most you'll be able to meet with anyone is MAYBE 1x a month, despite the fact you might be paying for more. This is a scam, if you truly can't let people meet with a therapist 1x per week yet forcing them to pay that fee, you're a scam.
The cancellation process is also a headache because you can't track where you're at in the process. If you call/email support for an update, all they'll tell you is that it's in a different department. I was told a support team member would confirm when my subscription had officially been cancelled and I was not. I just tried to log in one day and found out it had been cancelled. This is a waste of time.
All they want is your money. They do not care about actually providing the services they market on their website.

The counselors are awesomr but this…
The counselors are awesomr but this business and it's customer support are trash. It took them 4 days of back and forth between 3 support members to finally talk to each other to realize I wanted to pause. These crooks decided to charge my card today after I said I wanted to cancel. They said final warning to delete after a failed payment for something I didn't want. Looked at my invoices and saw that there was none unpaid. Why are you charging me for something I'm not using? I didn't even update my card information.

Gave it a 2nd chance
*Update* Yeah Cerebral is still more of a headache then its worth. I decided to give them a 2nd chance after being contacted by one of their, "Care Team Coordinators" (Damage control). They offered me the intro rate of $30 again, this coordinator also advised that they accept my insurance after asking them to make sure. Filled out my insurance and it was approved. I thought it was going a little better the 2nd time around. Getting an appointment was a little easier this time, but the session is limited to 30 Mins which is fine maybe for follow up appointments with the prescriber. But during my first session it was very rushed, they didnt ask great questions to get background and understanding of how we are feeling. We hit the 30 min mark and the prescriber couldnt have signed off quicker, it was a joke. Im like ok maybe the 2nd session might be better, so I scheduled my appointment for the following month then received an email, sorry we made an error we dont accept your insurance if you you would like to keep your appointment its going to be $124 or you can cancel it. For that pricing Ill just go see an actual Therapist who will actually listen and help. I happily cancelled I was mad that I couldnt get a refund for the first session due to their error. I would have never considered giving Cerebral a 2nd chance knowing that they dont take my insurance. Well the cancellation was also super annoying. I was a week away from the subscription renewing, I was sent the form that needed to be fill out and submitted on top of emailing the cancelling dept. The coordinator who reached out and was helping me with the process of signing up again and then the cancellation was responsive in the beginning before I asked to cancel. Once I did she sent me the form and it took 4 follow up emails and calls (over a week) in order for them to send confirmation of the cancellation. The reason why I had to keep following up is they specifically said if you dont receive a confirmation of cancellation, your subscription would be renewed. This company is a scam for telehealth, they only want your money. They entice you with an intro rate and when you want to cancel they try and keep you by offering small discount for 3 months or they take forever to cancel. Umm yeah no its still unaffordable and cost the same as going to a therapist and paying out of pocket.
_______________________________________
They were quick to charge you right after you sign up and schedule. It took 2 weeks to get an appt and they the prescriber no showed. Rescheduled again only date was in 2 weeks, but of course I signed on 10 mins early and the same thing happened. They sent an automated message of course saying sorry looks like you missed your appt and your prescriber was having trouble getting a hold of you... Umm no if she did try we would have had the appt. But 2 no shows is ridiculous for a company thats suppose to help people and have professionalism, but instead your automated message give people more anxiety and frustration thinking we did something wrong. Your service has so much potential to help people that cant afford going to a therapist office for a diagnosis. Not looking forward to the refund process after seeing all these bad reviews about the service. I should have looked at reviews before signing up.

Poor Customer Service
(3/23/22) I signed up for medication w/ counseling services. Cerebral didn't contact my insurance (which was listed on their site and they confirmed at enrollment) and instead charged my checking account nearly 3 times the amount on their site. I made multiple requests to explain the charges but they were not responsive. They did not answer the phone to connect me with a live person, did not return calls, and didn't read emails for content if they did respond. In my exasperation I found they removed all negative reviews from their Facebook page and a friend shared a site for a law firm that's investigating a potential class action case. I gave this company every opportunity to make this right before finally posting this review because they would not respond. It's unfortunate their customer service is seriously lacking because my counselor was fantastic but with even that the appointments became harder to get, went from weekly to monthly.
(4/2/22) Update - I wrote to the individual below and they refunded the charges because they never communicated they do not accept my insurance after all, and acknowledged my multiple attempts for an explanation.

They judge you by appearance...
I just wanted to report my experience with your Prescriber at Cerebral. While my Care Counselor was extremely helpful and kind, I cannot say the same for my prescriber. I met with (name redacted so I don't get in trouble) today, and you could imagine that I was feeling nervous and relieved and a million emotions meeting with a new provider. After our initial intake of my medical history, she read my tests. She reported that my mild score for Insomnia was severe (which it wasn't on the app) and that my ADHD diagnosis was low (which it wasn't -- it was listed as Severe on the app). I was surprised that she did not read my charts right, so I went to describe my symptoms to her. She did not ask many follow-up questions, was defensive, and uninterested. She reported that it wouldn't make sense for adults to get diagnosed with ADHD and questioned how I could have ADHD if I graduated from college. I am sure we all know that people can graduate with ADHD. I was on a 504 in High School and she said it didn't make sense that no one referred me for an evaluation, so I could not have ADHD. It's okay if I do not have ADHD, what is not okay is having such a combative attitude about it. Her language was "if it impacts your like you SAY it does" as if I'm just saying it for no reason. Then, she went on to say that ADHD medicines are unsafe, highly addictive, and no other options would work, and that there was nothing she could do for me without an official diagnosis. She also said "everyone is disorganized sometimes" which is the last thing you want to hear when something is impacting your life to the extent it impacts mine. I don't understand why she was so cold and cruel towards me and it really discouraged me from finding other treatment options, in fear that I would be judged again and met with mistrust for no reason. Even if that is not my diagnosis, she didn't ask me any other questions. She just dismissed my concerns, told me to find a "real diagnosis", and signed off. Again, even if your company cannot diagnose in my state or give medicines, it's not okay to treat people as if they're just looking for pills. I just wanted support as I may be fired from my current job because my symptoms for whatever I could have is impacting my life to that extent. My friend of another race than me in the same state had a completely different experience, I would like to mention. Naturally, I cancelled.

There is not enough consistency
There is not enough consistency. In the six months that I've been with the company I've had three different prescribers as well as different care counselors, for someone struggling with mental health consistency is key. I also find it hard to get in touch with someone and get answers when I need them. I have also put in my insurance information more than a few times, and although I understand they may not take it for the subscription it should still cover my medications which it does not. For those reasons I feel like cerebral is not a right fit for me as of now.
