This service/app is a 100% scam. It is NOT mental healthcare it is designed to steal money and time from vulnerable people. Stay far far away. signed up today and set my intake appointment for 6:30 local time. At 5 local time I received an email that I was a “no show” so my appointment had been canceled. This, of course is not physically possible as it was 1.5 hours ahead of my scheduled time. I tried to reach out through multiple channels but did not receive a response to this concern. A few minutes later a man calling himself Kai, called and said he was a prescribing provider and could do my appointment now. I explained that I am now very hesitant to trust this system given that my appointment was canceled without warning or explanation and now I’m getting a call out of the blue from a name I don’t recognize at a time I didn’t ask for. His response was to ask if I was ready to move forward with the appointment or if I wanted to “just keep complaining”. Really!? This is how a supposed mental health care provider speaks to people!? I’m horrified and appalled. 100% scam. Run far far away.

I joined Cerebral seeking help with my ADHD. I completed all of the initial screenings and was told that I would be a good candidate for their services. After waiting over a month to see a provider I was told that I did have ADHD but there were no medications that could be prescribed for me as they are all controlled substances. The provider that I saw was a nurse practitioner. I was never told that I would be seeing an NP and if I was I would have never signed up for the services as I know they generally are limited on the medications they can prescribe. My provider was very helpful and knowledgeable but was tied by law with what she could do for me. I paid two months for a service that was not provided to me. Over $100 that was wasted. I reached out to customer service and was continually showed that they did not actually care about their customers. The website is deceiving and based on other reviews here clearly this company is just trying to get money. I repeated asked for a refund since I paid for a service that was not provided. I was ignored the first three times and then told that they do not do that. I’m still just not sure how a company can take your money without providing a service and be okay with it. Do not waste your time or your money on this company.

If you have serious trauma, do not try this site, I have serious doubts about this sites ethics and Dr's. First I signed up at $39.99 then I upgraded to the $69 package that supposedly included therapy and meds, but to my surprise I was charged an extra $30 for the meds to be called in to my pharmacy?? Meds that I told the Dr I had already been on?? I've had severe anxiety for 40yrs now, and they just sped through the appointment, didn't even get to tell her everything because I was rushed. Mind you, this was the first time I told anyone about my childhood trauma (crying the entire time and was betrayed). So I was given welbutrin (just like every other dr) I told her I already tried that and It doesn't agree with me-no antidepressants do other than trazadone which I'm already on, AND I still have anxiety, I came here looking for help and they gave me blood pressure pills (my blood pressure is perfect, just my pulse is extremely high.) My pulse is over 100 every day and I can't take it anymore, which is why I came to this site. So I picked up the meds and, had an anxiety attack the first night I took those blood pressure pills, so those are completely useless, and should have never been prescribed to me, btw when I was over 200lbs (125lbs now from not being able to eat or sleep) and I was on metroprolo, that never helped with anxiety when I actually had high blood pressure, now my bp is text book, but again, my pulse is sky high 24hrs a day. All I got out of this was a lesson to never spend that kind of money for an "online Dr" again. Thanks for asking me to spill my guts for nothing..real cool👌 PS if you are looking for ativan or any controlled substance, even if you legit need it, you will not get it so please dnt listen to other reviews, they are lying. Edit: like I said, their lying..look at the reply..bunch of crooks

Money hungry and not helpful. I tolerate this program to maintain my medication, but i wouldn't use it if i had any other choice. Not one person was able to help me with my billing issues and i was bombarded with emails regarding my past due invoice. Do you understand that fincial stress is one of the leading contributing factors to someone's mental health? Care consulers are a joke, and i find google to be a better resource. Prescribers are unreachable and there is a huge disconnect between everyone. My care coordinator said they weren't notified of my email for almost a month, and i had someone contact me saying i needed to see my prescriber ASAP to keep my rx, however her schedule clearly indicated she wasn't available until November of 2022. I was also informed that my two mental illnesses were not treatable together, because basically cerebral can't do the work to help me. So i get to pick between being a raging manic bipolar, or having servely untreated ADHD .Overall a very poor service thay takes advantage of low income people seeking mental health help.

I was charged for medication and counseling $85 the first month and never received any medication and then I’m gonna get charged this month without receiving anything from the previous month

This business is a JOKE. They advertise their “no commitment, cancel at any time” nonsense. When you call to cancel, they don’t give you the option to speak to a real human, and tell you to email them (address provided in their automated system) I emailed them cancelling my account FOUR TIMES with no response. Got another automatic charge a month later, which maxed out my credit card. Within an hour I received an email from Cerebral telling me to update my payment info. Naturally, I responded stating that I got no response to my four cancellation requests but they could email me within an hour when they couldn’t take any more of my money. I got a BS apology email saying that “a request for cancellation was started”. A REQUEST. The next month, the same thing happened. They tried to charge me YET AGAIN and blew up my inbox telling me to update my payment. I told them for the sixth time that my account was supposed to be cancelled and that they no longer had my permission to charge my card for a service I wasn’t even using. At this point, I had already reached out to my credit card company disputing the charges and attempting to block the merchant. Here we are, one month later, I just received a third email from Cerebral complaining that they couldn’t charge my card on file. I am now in the process of canceling the credit card itself. Cerebral is a complete scam. Countless online reviews state the same complaint. My advice, spend the money going to a real doctor to get your prescriptions, it’ll cost you less money and less hassle.

I haven't even been able to sign up for the service, unfortunately. I continuously get a message stating, "There was an error creating the subscription." I have reached out via e-mail as well as via phone to Customer Care, however, get the same message. "It is a known outage right now, and we are working to resolve it." It's been over 24-hours at this point, and I still haven't been able to create an account. Given this wait, as well as the response I received from a Coordinator earlier today, I'm thinking that this is no longer a good fit for me. The process to establish one's account should not be this difficult. I will be researching similar providers.

I’m literally writing this review in tears. I cancelled my service after my trial (paid $30 + $85 because my first appointment wasn’t available until 4 weeks after my sign up. I reached out to them for help with my depression and now their never ending and reoccurring charges are the reason for my anxiety and depression. I give up cerebral, you win. Keep charging me for services you never provided. It’s so heart breaking to read all the reviews from customers with my exact same story.
