Not worth it, use your time and money somewhere else
Set up an account - this is easy and straightforward. Meeting with a therapist - this was unfortunately confounded by LOW availability, and a CANCELLATION on the day of the appointment. I have had Cerebral for 3 weeks and have gotten absolutely nothing out of it, except a charge on my credit card.

Incompetent, but somewhat Entertaining
Cerebral has come pretty far, but still lacks basic process and customer service competency. There is always some disconnect between intuitive and obvious processes vs. the bureaucracy and friction-full processes that exist. I’ve been with them for years, and each time they cause me to not get meds on time or simply don’t understand their own platform I consider switching. I stay because I like my provider, but I know even she gets exasperated by the process clunkiness and service incompetence.

Horrible company
Horrible company. They are not able to help you. You call or message about a issue and do not hear from them in days and no one can give you a correct answer.

Cerebral will overcharge you and not notify you
Nowhere when I purchased my $30 monthly subscription for medication with insurance did your policy state I’d have to pay an additional $100 per session. I had to schedule 2 different appointments with a prescribers because the first one was so ineffective in understanding my clear diagnosis and was pushy towards prescribing me a medication I clearly stated I had negative symptoms with. Either way, this company has shady policies and is not transparent about disclosing their pay structure so you blindly pay extra fees. Absolutely ridiculous that this is the treatment people who are seeking mental help experience.

They Don’t mention until after you’ve…
They Don’t mention until after you’ve already purchased a subscription and done your first session that they don’t prescribe ADHD medication. I paid for 3 months thinking this would be the solution to getting adhd meds without health insurance. Not holding my breath on getting a refund based on the scammy tactics they’ve used already either.

Horrible care
I signed up for cerebral, only for the doctor to tell me at my first session that they couldnt treat my symptoms. The doctor was very kind and said to ask for a refund as Cerebral won't let her treat my symptoms. When I messaged to ask for a refund, they said I couldn't get a refund because I had already had a session. How am I supposed to know what they can or cannot treat without having a session?? Cerebral has horrible service and care.

I would never refer anyone to this company
Due to the unexpected death of my son, I was desperate to find a therapist. Local counselors weren't taking in-person clients; I tried Cerebral. After a month of technical issues (computer, account-related, lack of available counselors), an actual appointment was finally made for 6 p.m. Inexplicably, that day, I received a cancellation notice - no explanation. In the meantime, Cerebral had collected 2 months of fees, and I still had no therapist. It was a joke. Needless to say, this type of service is no service at all.

Scam-like pricing tactics
Be very careful when using this service. Cerebral is very predatory with its pricing — I tried to sign up only for the monthly price for combined therapy/psychiatry services to increase from $305/month to $365/month because I was no longer eligible for the “special price offered to our lead customers” (a vague and nonsensical reason). If you choose to go with Cerebral for therapy, triple check all charges to make sure you are not being scammed like I almost was.
