I was hospitalized in 2019 for about a week because a psychiatrist prescribed lamictal and I became reactive a month later. I had erythema multiforme and was prescribed prednisone. Which gave me panic attacks. I was prescribed Clonazepam. I took it at the the time to cope. I learn on my own how to deal with panic attacks. Occasionally I use Clonazepam when I know I need it. A doctor at Cerebral called me an addict and I had to beg to get the prescription refilled. A week went by and I still dont have my meds. This industry sucks, first they misdiagnose me, then put on meds that almost killed me. Then Im called an addict. So lets do this like the business it is. I pay for a service, you dont get to tell me what to do, you do the job I payed you for and prescribe my medicine that your industry made me an “addict”

Started off with them, going WITHOUT meds until I hounded them to do their job. Nothing went right including them (not) reimbursing me for fees taken months after I canceled.

I helped my little brother over Zoom sign up for Cerebral today and when we got to the "Enter your insurance provider" question it didn't list our insurance provider eventhough it stated on the FAQs that they accepted it. I called the support for help and Andy kept telling me he needed to speak with the client and refused to discuss it with me. Signing up for behavioral health is already hard enough and I wasn't wanting to make my little brother have to sit on a phone and discuss "insurance providers" with their support. Very frustrated considering I wasn't asking for any health information or PHIs at all. Not off to a good start...

While I believe that this service can be helpful for those living in larger states, I can only speak to my experience. I live in New England and it has been a frustrating, expensive headache trying to get help through Cerebral. I work and live between two small states (extremely common here). I signed up initially with my "home" state, was matched with a provider, and then during our first visit, was told that she actually had a non-compete clause with an area clinic that rendered her unable to treat me. I don't fault her for that, but I do wish that that information had been checked PRIOR to the appointment, as my address is clearly in the system when she accepted me as a patient. I spoke to customer service, who was incredibly helpful and kind, and offered the one other choice of provider that I had in my state. I try to do my due diligence in vetting providers, as I know there is a wide range of experience and professionalism amongst NPs (I come from a family of advanced practice nurses), and I take full responsibility for ensuring I get care that I feel good about. The provider that was available had a LinkedIn page that was all about her MLM. While she may be decent, I didn't feel comfortable proceeding with her. The above took HOURS of my day, and left me frustrated and in tears, so I waited to try again. I eventually changed my address to my work state, where I live part-time as a caregiver, and was matched with an absolutely lovely provider. I wish I had been able to utilize her services, but apparently Cerebral isn't able to prescribe medication for ADHD in that state. I signed up for Cerebral solely to treat my ADHD, as I already have an Rx for anxiety, but have found it more difficult finding affordable prescribers locally that can treat ADHD. I have now paid for 6+ months of Cerebral, because, hey! Still untreated ADHD! Terrible executive functioning! Chronic overwhelm! No short term memory! And I have yet to receive any care whatsoever. Going to cancel now, while I still remember. For what I've been autobilled, at this point, I could have paid for 2 in person appointments with an experienced psychiatrist. I've told family and friends who also struggle to avoid this service at all costs until they can verify that they've massively expanded their provider network in the region. The lovely individual in customer service let me know that these issues I had are unfortunately very common for customers in this area, so, if you're also in the region and looking for care, proceed with caution.

Didn't get the help that an adult with ADHD should have. It is by my experience that cerebral team is not educated on the complexity of ADHD. I thought that maybe I'd get straight forward help. I was miss informed . I felt that I was being treated like a junkie. Then I was told I'd be referred to a different perscriber . They never reached out . All I wanted was to get control of my remote. . To be focused for my daughter. As she works out her O.D.D. an offspring from my ADHD. . What I got from this experience was faults hope . Deeper depression. Disappointment. Ronbed of any self-esteem I had left and if I don't hear back from them then I will get refunded .

The prescriber did nothing to help me. She left me confused and saddened. She did not prescribe any medications or tell me about a treatment plan. So far it's been a nightmare dealing with this company.

I paid for an entire month, plus therapy. I had different doctors, so I had to repeat my issues each time. They prescribed one medicine that was expensive, so I asked for something less expensive. The issue was never resolved. They do not have a good customer support team. I do not recommend them at all.

I lost my job and was under the impression I would be given extra time to pay my bill. I was wrong, but Cerebral refused to refund me all my money. Since I originally had no money in my account, I collected a massive amount of fees and fines (over $500) in my checking account. I begged them for weeks to help me and even being a therapy site, they truly couldn't care less about you.
