My care counselor has been awesome – very caring, compassionate, and invested in my well-being. He has made sure I speak to my provider about medication issues between appointments if necessary, and he has worked with me to find tools to help my anxiety. I do wish the default appointment spacing with a provider (doc) in the beginning of treatment with medication wasn’t a full three months – but as noted, if you need earlier help the care counselor will make it happen. Overall Cerebral has been a godsend, during an extra-anxious time, when I wouldn’t have wanted to have an in-person appointment with anyone anyway!

The Cerebral team is absolutely amazing. My team has been incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and very informative. I can not express how much I would recommend Cerebral for issues related to anxiety and depression. I am so incredibly grateful for my team - they have helped change my life. The setting of the online meetings is also great - it is a far more relaxed and comfortable setting than a doctor's office. You start out in a comfortable environment where it is easy to open up to your team so they can get you the help you need. I can not say enough about how wonderful Justine and Kristin have been for me.

I have needed professional help for more than eight years. Finally, after seeing the ads on Facebook, I decided to give it a shot. I'm a 44 y/o female, divorced after 20 years of marriage, and 3 nearly grown kids...and I couldn't handle things on my own anymore. I am beyond just needing an antidepressant or an anti-anxiety pill; I need someone to validate me and help me figure out what I need to do to make MYSELF better for MYSELF. Not because others are depending on me, or because the world is watching, but because if I don't care for myself, then who else will? I was able to figure out that I needed assistance and for the nominal fee of $99, and since I have no insurance, I was desperate for help. I was put into communication with Breyeh Calhoun and Sara Thompson, and immediately upon seeing Breyeh's face on my screen I felt like I had stumbled upon a previously unknown resource that would help me get back on my feet. You see, I spent more than a solid year in bed with depression and anxiety, barely able to do more than just the basic self care - showering, toileting - nothing else. And I felt like somehow I had failed the world around me, my children, myself. Yet, Breyeh and Sara worked together to help me realize that I am worth fixing, and that I am not so far lost that I cannot be found, and that I can use the experiences I have had thus far in life to give me a new advantage to creating a brand new self and self-identity. I am no longer lost, I am just a bloom. Where I once felt I was withered on the vine, I just needed a little pruning. I have had a breakdown now and then over the last eight years, but thanks to Cerebral, I have literally had a breakTHROUGH. If I had known years ago that I could get help like this, maybe I could have saved myself some heartache and self-despair and self pity! But knowing what I know now, if I can help just one person to overcome their obstacles, then what I have experienced is worth it. I will continue to be a member of Cerebral and sing the praises to anyone who is willing to listen. And, I offer my deepest gratitude for their staff, particularly Breyeh and Sara.

It's so nice to feel like someone is in your corner and there to get you better while offering support along the way. I feel validated and understood. That goes a long way when your down and out. I've had a great experience and would recommend cerebral to anyone who needs help. I'm glad I tried it!

I’ve struggled with my mental health for a very long time and the pandemic has made it even worse. I wanted a convenient way to gain access mental health care. Cerebral treats you like a person and not a patient. I highly recommend cerebral if you want great mental health care from people who care.

My cerebral care team literally saved my life. When I went to my PCP, they just handed me Wellbutrin, but it didn’t really work for me and he didn’t take the time to educate me on how it would work and why he prescribed that medication. My provider helped me figure out the right medications for me, which are different since my symptoms are related to generalized anxiety and not depressions. And the exercises and approached my care counselor teaches me during counseling sessions are truly life-changing!!

I feel so good! My provider explained everything clearly, I felt so comfortable talking to her and I feel like I understand what I’m taking and why. This has helped me so much, I’ve been able to apply these tools into my every day life and do what I’ve always wanted to do.
