Therapist is great, Needs consistency with policy
The experience is costly; however, having a high deductible health insurance and realizing that I NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE was too important to let go this time. I did need an out-of-work note and couldn't get that. I was able to get a note stating I saw my therapist on so and so days. I left work due to an abusive situation and sought therapy. Hopefully, my employer will honor that.

I would do a 4 1/2 stars but I can only…
I would do a 4 1/2 stars but I can only do four or five the price is high but the quality of care convenience and level of understanding without judgement was on another level never did I once feel misunderstood or like how I’m feeling was/is wrong. Only positivity… also they have a pharmacy that can ship the medication directly to you if you don’t want to go to the pharmacy and pick up the prescription(s). Overall was nice just more expensive than most online mental health services available.

Great accessibility to great support…
Great accessibility to great support network. Negatives are some major insurances are not accepted (I know that is a difficult thing to get for any health org) and not 100% clear on some staff changes over time. Communication from the administrative side is difficult or not thorough enough.

Without Cerebral I would be crazier than this review!
I love this app to make sure i can keep up with my mental health meds!! Only one ☝🏻 thing I do not like is the way they switch you from your counselor suddenly even tho u got close to your current one. Everything else for under $100 is way better than paying an in person therapist more to do the same 💩🌸😬💖 GO CEREBRAL 🧠 🤘🏻

Wow, a psychiatric practice that actually responds back!
I’ve had a hard time finding good psychiatric care over the ten years I’ve been diagnosed. Local practices are chocked full and really hard to get a hold of, which is really bad when it comes to needing medication. I’ve been using Cerebral for about half a year now, and they fixed those points I struggled with. They get back to me within a day, appointments are easy to set up (including urgent ones that need to happen like next day), and so far they’ve been pretty good at listening. It is outside my insurance, but $85 per month is still pretty cheap considering you get a psychiatrist, a team that handles medications, and a therapist all included in that cost. And if you don’t like your current psychiatrist or therapist, you can switch to another easy-peasy until you find one you like. And you don’t even have to leave your house. I highly recommend them for people like me who have had some close calls with mental health emergencies because the psychiatrist won’t get back to you for like a week or two.

Tech 4 Stars- Service 5 Stars
The only reason I give this app 4 stars and not 5 is because of the technical issues. The app is relatively easy to use but sometimes I get automatically logged out or don’t show up in the wait room, but my therapist always reaches out. I have been with Eli Mayorquin and Mihaela Corteza for over a year and they are both great. They helped me discover my condition and come up with coping skills to manage my life better. I feel as though the quality of my life has improved significantly since I started talking to them and taking the correct medication. I was misdiagnosed often in the past but my prescriber did not give up on finding the right medication for me without abusing what or how much medication I took. So far, this has been my best experience in seeking mental health aid.

Love my Therapist; Data breech not so much
The four stars go for my Therapist Cindy Alexander. I feel like she understands me and is able to direct me the way I need to go. I can’t give Cerebral 5 stars because of them sharing confidential patients health information in a data breach with social media, etc. Also, it seems like during this time and age, that Cerebral would be able to make some type of agreements with insurance companies so that our legitimate mental health issues can not only be treated, but also be covered by insurance.

Megan was easy to talk to
Megan was great to talk and put me at ease. I needed my primary medication today. She explained how delivery worked through Cerebral with my medications. I was able to get the script I needed immediately sent to a local pharmacy, she even checked prices and got me the lowest cost. The only downside was some how I'd inadvertently canceled my previous appointment and had to wait a week without meds. Perhaps I need the "you're cancelling your appointment" to flash red?
