Trying to navigate mental health is a struggle, not being able to get answers to questions within 24 hours adds to this struggle. I had questions about medication, charges on my account and a cancellation of a therapy session...making my struggle more real;( I still have not received answers it’s been 1 week.

I wish I had had a better experience. Truthfully, I feel that the program is misleading from the beginning. A self-assessment quiz is not an appropriate alternative to medically administered psychological evaluation, and the diagnosis is less likely to be accurate as a result. Additionally, the level of accessibility provided is inadequate, and by extension, dangerous to the patients as a lack of access to a provider can have many negative impacts. I, for example, had to wait for days for my counselor to hear back from my provider when my increase in dosage caused me severe side effects. The response I received after missing almost a week of work was that it was most likely my medication (which I knew) and that it was up to me if I wanted to change my dose. This was after paying to see another doctor while I was waiting, who could only advise that I go to the hospital or wait to hear back from my provider. The level of care that is provided through Cerebral is simply not comprehensive, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Truth be told, my time at Cerebral was a waste, and I wish I had spent those months seeking more compassionate and accessible care. Edited to add: When I chose not to renew my subscription, they tried to offer me discounts, then immediately canceled my appointments for that month (which I had already paid for). Goes to show how much concern they have for the patients.

If you have extremely mild mental health concerns, maybe this could be helpful for you. I would not recommend unless you have access to no other care. I’ve had this service for 3 months.

Too expensive for what it is.

I was in crisis and had no direct contact with anyone who could help. I would not recommend them if you have anxiety issues.

I've been with Cerebral almost 2 months now and I'm not feeling any better. I scheduled my first provider visit, waited several days for the appointment only to be told she could not prescribe meds in my state and that I had to choose another provider. So, I got another provider. My new one asked me how long I've been suffering with insomnia and anxiety and what all I've taken in the past that helped me. So far she has written 3 different prescriptions for me because, of course, they don't work because she refuses to prescribe the things I've told her repeatedly that do work. My first care counselor quit on me and my second one hasn't reached out to me other than to tell me my first one quit. I feel like no one is listening to me at cerebral and that my input is simply disregarded. I'm still not sleeping. My anxiety is worse than ever and I have no idea what to do to fix it. Thanks for nothing, Cerebral.

I signed up for this service and during my first consultation I found out they couldn't prescribe 2 out of 3 medications I take. I canceled the plan and asked for a refund since they were not able to provide the service. I emailed support and they initially denied the refund. I had to pass through 2 levels of support (each one kept denying refund) over the course of about a week until I had to demand to have a senior manager handle the case. The manager issued me a refund and had me speak by phone to another person to explain the situation and provide feedback. In the end I received the refund because they were not able to provide the service I needed but it was very difficult and time consuming to get to obtain this resolution.

I have struggled with anxiety and depression for the past 15 years of my life. I currently live in a small town with limited healthcare options, I was advised to seek online help through a local mental health facility. I took the health assessment and signed up for online medication management and care counseling. I honestly and openly discussed my illness to my provider and care counselor. My provider immediately started me on medication to manage me depression and anxiety, and I was excited to be getting help again. However after meeting with my care counselor, unbeknownst to me she decided that I was more suitable for in person treatment and sent me a chat to say this. The website is basically unnavigable and I was unable to see this "chat", I consequently waited for medication that wasn't going to come and was charged an additional month before I reached out to support who informed me of the chat sent by my care counselor. I complained to support and they refunded my money and canceled my subscription. This whole process was extremely frustrating, I am merely trying to get help and I can't seem to get it through online or in person methods. If I wasn't a good candidate for treatment Cerebral should have mentioned this after my health assessment or my visit with provider. At the very least an email should've been sent telling me my care counselors opinion instead of a "chat" which I could not access. By sending me an email I could have sought treatment from another source quicker and may not have gone through with drawls from my medication. And the fact that my care counselor suggested in person treatment during a global pandemic where most doctors offices aren't seeing patients was laughable. Furthermore, I should have never been charged in the first place for a service that they were refusing me.
