I'd reccomend cerebral to anyone experiencing mild to moderate generalized anxiety, depression, or someone experiencing symptoms of PTSD. I'd especially recommend cerebral to anyone without insurance. Cerebral is much more affordable than conventional psychiatry/counseling. I met with two providers who were both really nice. I met with Shameeka Gray (prescriber) and Toni Dickerson (care counselor) and I'd highly encourage you to book an appointment with either of them. They're both really caring and kind. Most importantly for me they both created a safe space for me to express myself without fear of judgment.

I love the idea of telehealth for mental health conditions and so on, but I was a little skeptical as to how well an organization could make it work. Cerebral has definitely exceeded my expectations. Compared to 3-6 month wait lists, I was able to speak with a prescriber in <3 weeks. The provider was very professional and helpful, and when the pharmacy had questions, he was able to get things resolved and my medication dispensed promptly. I’ve been treated in person by a psychiatrist, and for the money I’m saving through Cerebral, I don’t notice any drop-off in the quality of care I’ve received thus far. I’m scheduled to meet with my Care Counselor in the next few days, so I can’t comment on my experience with her. But my Care Coordinator has been very responsive, via the built-in message center in the app, and very professional in her communication. The team at Cerebral has done an excellent job creating a virtual environment that I know will facilitate growth and healing for many people. EDIT: I want to come back to say that I really appreciated the care and concern my Care Counselor showed in our visit. While Cerebral doesn’t offer trauma care, I think Luanna will be a great resource for all things goal/solution focused. Very pleased to have these resources!

Sandra helped me begin the process of getting better after a sudden death in my family. She was compassionate, kind and clearly very experienced. We had a wonderful session and I couldn’t recommend her or Cerebral more highly.

So I had an assessment with a prescriber. And honestly, I had a great experience with them over any other psychiatrists I ever had. They really took the time to ask questions and go into detail with the assessment. Very excited for future assessment

Cerebral is very convenient and flexible. The matching system has been perfect. I was offered a few therapist that fit the assistance I was seeking. My therapist has been very affective after my first session. I’ve implemented the activities provided and feel and see that I am going into a healthier direction.
