Honestly, I am so surprised by how easy and stress free this experience has been so far. I already had an official ADHD diagnosis and had tried a medication before through my primary care doctor. But when that didn’t work, it was hard to even summon the energy to advocate for myself and solve the issue. When you have a dopamine disorder, setting up doctors appointments, actually getting yourself in the car to go to the doctor, and taking time out of your already mismanaged schedule feels like an incredible hurdle. I signed up for this the other day, just had a 20 minute appointment, and now have a new treatment plan with my prescription on the way. I was able to do it all in my pajamas on my couch. I’m so glad a service like this exists.

My experience with cerebral has genuinely been life changing. I spent years trying to get my doctors to just listen to me, and felt pushed aside. Right off the bat with my prescriber Jacklyn, I felt so listened to and valued. I was able to actually get medications to help what I was struggling with, and my life has changed immensely since then, in all the best ways! It was more affordable than my health insurance options, and the care team is much more reliable and so good at truly listening to me and valuing my input on my healthcare.

I tried using a different tele-doctor during the pandemic to help continue my meds for my mental health and I had a bad experience. Took me a while but I found Cerebral and quickly I was able to speak to a Doctor and Counselor, to get me back on track.

I met with Andrew today and he was very nice. We spoke about how I've been feeling, and set some goals for the near future. I appreciate how he allowed me to speak, it felt more like talking to someone I knew than an interrogation.

That was my exact thought as well, here we go again with another group of people with their lives together about to tell me what I need, that can’t relate, don’t understand and don’t want anymore more than their paycheck. However, I was wrong, completely wrong. Everyone I’ve been in contact with using cerebral have been understanding, helpful and have actually helped me start working on my life in a constructive manner, not just pushed me into a room with medication to be forgotten about. I highly recommend anyone going through a hard time, or just someone that needs that extra kick to stay rolling in life try it out.
