Help me realize it's not bad to ask for help or have feelings

I love cerebral and the providers the only issue I have is how long it takes to get a response back from anyone when you have a question or an issue.

Overall, my experience has been a mixed bag. I signed up and it took over a month to see or talk to anyone, so the promotional month was a joke because I paid $30 for zero services rendered. My prescriber has been awesome, she's always punctual and I feel that she genuinely cares about my treatment plan. I was placed on Strattera for ADHD and I've noticed great results so far. My only issue is that usually she's booked over a month in advance and it is currently 2 months out for my next check-in. I'm paying for monthly check-ins, so... again, paying for no services rendered. My care counselor is a whole other issue. I've yet to meet her. She's cancelled/no-showed three times, two of those with no notice. I get generic apologies and offered to reschedule to the next month only to repeat the cycle. I have insurance but with the pandemic, there's a long wait, so this service is purely out-of-pocket (aside from medication) because I was under the assumption that it would be quicker to get the help I wanted only to discover the long, long waits AFTER they took my payment. Is it a bad service? No, it's professional and helpful when you get to someone, but I think they grew faster than they expected and can't provide the level of service they advertise. I keep giving them a chance even after they've dropped the ball several times, so they're doing something right. However, in all honesty, if you have an insurance provider that provides mental health services, just go with them. You'll have to wait either way, but you won't be out the extra money. I've spent about $250 for only two prescriber visits, so it's not entirely the most affordable route like they suggest.

I wouldn't call Cerebral cheap unless you have insurance. It's more average without. With consultations and meds, I pay $30/month with insurance ($85 without) not including the cost of the medications. This jumps to $135/month ($325 without insurance) if you do therapy and meds or $99/month ($259 without insurance) if you do just therapy. I had to wait 3 weeks to see a provider, and I'm waiting just over a month between check ins. That being said, this beats many experiences I hear from people having a harder time finding in-person appointments with mental health care providers. I like the NP I worked with, and I'm happy that I'm receiving care at my own convenience.

I've had a great experience so far! My doctor ,I feel like, had finally gotten me in the right meds,and I feel so much better!!! I love my counselor!She really listens!

last thursday 12/30 had my appoinment and we agree to lower the dosage, provider never sent my medication and I have tried to contact them since. messages, calls and emails. its been a week and nothing. Also each time i had an appoinment nurse p. seemed no have idea which medication I was taking and seemed insecure about adverse effects

While I like my prescriber and councilor, the prescription service is pretty bad! I have to message them weekly, and every week the problems repeat. The med service is not reliable, but the council and 1:1 is great.

I've been so grateful to find help online. Living in a small mountain town, it's hard to find mental health support. Oddly enough, the only place within hours only accepts Medicaid but not other insurance. So cerebral has been a huge convenience. The only issues I've had are not being able to schedule appointments due to mo availability showing up. But I've been set up with an appointment time after reaching out. So it all works out!
