It's a great concept, but I never heard from my Prescriber after the initial consultation. They are limited on what they can prescribe, in my opinion you are far better off seeing someone in person for the 85$ you pay. I will continue my care with my Phychriatist and forget this experience that made me have more anxiety than I started with 🤣UPDATE: They did refund my initial payment, and that meant alot. So I'm raising the score a bit to reflect that.

I got Cerebral because I wanted something easy. The first appointment was simple. Then the therapist and psychiatrist don't communicate well. Automated messages are sent daily. Unlike a normal doctor's office, it takes about 24 hours to hear from anyone about making an appointment. In a normal doctor's office you can call and get an immediate answer.

My care counselor is great. She's a great listener and offers great advice. My first meeting with my prescriber was also great. However, things went south when my medication refill wasn't processed correctly and I contacted my care coordinator. After an initial promise to look into it, I heard nothing back from my care coordinator or prescriber, ran out of medication, and got sick because of it. I decided to go to my GP for meds and cancel Cerebral. The cancellation process was frustrating, especially since it warned me repeatedly that suddenly stopping meds was dangerous...which I was forced to do because of their screw up and lack of action. This experience has made me hesitant to ever use telehealth again for a maintenance prescription.

I have been with you guys since February of this year and it has gotten to the point that I have been looking for other methods of help because of the lack of compassion towards my situation. I feel like with the therapist forever changing that a lot gets lost in translation and huge details fall through the crack.

The prescriptionist was nice but didn't really listen at all on what side effects of drugs i wanted to stay away from. I decided to cancel so i can seek a in-person help. 9 days ago i sent a email to cancel, I finally got a email on the 27th, they wanted me to rate them so I did, and then again told them to process my cancelation knowing the 30th I was going to be billed for the upcoming month. They said they would and it would take 2 days...today is the 30th and I was billed for next month! Why am I having to jump through hoops to cancel when I requested in 9 days ago? And its funny that they send you a please right a nice review email right before they fail to cancel and take you money .......just ridiculous!

I was left disappointed after my 3rd month. The medication seemed to provide some benefit but I never got to request the next higher dosage. I never saw my prescriber after the first appointment and had my counselor changed on me in the 3rd month and new counselor didn’t have any availability until the new month. A fee credit could be great when this happens. I finally cancelled because new Counselor cancelled our appointment and they had zero availability in scheduling page.

The app is super easy to use and the counseling was excellent. I really wish the therapy sessions were longer than 35 minites since the subscription is a bit pricey if your not using insurance. My main issue was the medication and scheduling. I repeatedly said which medications Ive taken in the past that didn’t work and was given something that gave me extremely negative side affects. Maybe if the questionaire was a bit more thurough the perscriber would have a better idea of what meds would be better? After my fist appointment with the perscriber the medication was ordered but did not arrive for about a month. By the time I had my next appointment I had only taken the medication for a week and wasnt able to accurately address any side affects and had another box of meds on the way. I messaged the coordinator asking to discontinue (which they did) but ANOTHER prescription of the same medication was still sent even after I reported not being able to tolerate it. I have issues with fatigue so the SSRI given to me made me so drowsy thay I was sleeping 20 hours a day, was repeatedly late to work and almost fell asleep driving.

I signed up for services but decided to go with my insurance in-network instead. I didn't have an appointment yet for either doctor or support, I didn't get prescribed and they wouldn't refund me the full amount of $25 - after waiting almost a week for a reply. I understood that though, things take time. I normally don't leave these kinds of reviews, I understand there are rules in the sign-ups but seems very silly to not refund someone who hasn't started to use the services yet - monthly agreement or not. Thanks for your time. Edit: We are all in a time where finances are tight, but sending a long email explaining why you can't do a full refund from $12.50 to $25 as a courtesey is very preachy. As I'm sure this sounds preachy too. Either way, there is a way to talk to customers/patients, and this was not it. The service itself is for a good cause - to help people. I would focus on that. It's less about the money at this point and more about the consumer experience, listen to these reviews if you want to grow and flourish to help people and make an impact.
