I love the concept. I didn’t like that my providers switched so much. I think it is nice, but 5 min sessions don’t really cover mental health.
But the convenience of getting my meds is nice

Helpful for the most part although…
Helpful for the most part although there is little communication between care coordinator, and the prescriber and the app can be wonky sometimes although so far nothing too bad.

Not Enough Available Appointments
I wish Cerebral would show available appointment times before making the consumer commit to a monthly subscription fee of $30/month. I did not end up continuing with Cerebral because their soonest appointment was nearly 3 weeks out when I went to book an appointment and other competitors have appointments available same day.

Meetings and medication ordering…
Meetings and medication ordering process is great. It is easy, convenient. However my 30$ a month is now 80? My medications also seem a little on the high side for it being the older generic form. Worried everything might continue to go up monthly

Easy to use but expensive
Cerebral was a quick and effective way to get help when I needed it. Now that I am doing better, it is way too costly to keep up with and the price does not fairly compensate for the benefits. My therapist was very kind but I think I will look for something more within my price range

Care coordinators take a long time to…
Care coordinators take a long time to respond. Medication delays because care coordinator doesn’t properly address the issue. Claimed my medications were sent, informed me multiple times they were. Finally, I went thru a different coordinator and as I suspected my medications were not ordered. This delay could have caused a gap between scripts that would have made me stop a medication cold turkey. This was a medication that can be dangerous to abruptly stop like that.
I have really liked my care counselor and my APRN. Cerebral has given me an affordable way to manage my mental health, but if I keep running into issues as described above I will have to cancel service.

Long wait for replies. Communication issues.
They seem to always take too long to reply. I am waiting on a refill for my prescription and they seem to not communicate well between each other. My coordinator is waiting on my prescriber prescription and doesn’t seem to be aware I have already talked to the prescriber and the prescriber seems to have forgotten to refill my prescription or renew it…

Mostly good, also bad
I'll start off by saying that I really like the concept that Cerebral is built upon. I had been feeling like I've had ADHD for a very long time, but it had gotten dismissed frequently because I'm an adult woman who was high functioning in school and career, but HCPs would constantly dismiss that my personal life was in shambles. I really felt heard by my prescriber at Cerebral, who gave me multiple options for help managing this side of my life. I didn't want stimulants, that I knew for sure, so she offered a variety of alternatives, some pharmaceutical and some not, one of which I decided on and currently love.
My experience with basically every other part of Cerebral has been much more difficult.
1. I changed jobs recently, and updating my insurance has been difficult. Sometimes it looks like it takes, and sometimes it shows my old insurance information on my profile. I'm not sure where I'm being billed, but hopefully I'm still covered.
2. My care counselor has rescheduled or missed multiple appointments, sometimes with little notice, sometimes with no notice. Rescheduling last minute is hard because care counselors often don't have any availability for the next month, so I haven't seen them in quite some time.
3. The cost of my medication changed, and they didn't inform me. Not only do they not accept any pharmacy benefits when it's shipped, but it has been a very long process to get them to send the prescription to my pharmacy (still am getting refills in the mail so I might need to wait until it's a renewed prescription).
All in all, I personally think it's been worth it for me. Thankfully, I can still afford Cerebral, but I definitely sense plenty of areas of improvement for the user experience.
