I have been severely depressed for months. I have no money or insurance so I have been unable to find any help. I joined cerebral only because of the trial discount they offered. I went through the signup and had an appt booked with two different people. One was a doctor. I needed to talk to someone right away, but wasn't able to schedule anything for two weeks. The day before I am supposed to get my first call the doctor cancels my appointment. I get the call from this other person that tells me I can talk to them but they can't give me any advice or anything. So that didn't help. The only appointments I could make with a doctor would have fallen in the next month. I could not really afford the discounted month I paid for and surely couldn't pay for another month at full cost so I canceled my membership.. Which was another whole hurdle to jump through. I have since continued to seek help elsewhere but have been unable to find anything. This app was a huge disappointment and let down.

My son has serious depression and is/was using cerebral, he made his payment and then never got his prescription refilled because they would not return a ridiculous number of calls. He ended up in the ER with a live-threatening situation as a result. They should be out of business for their unethical practices. They are playing with people's lives. It is unbelievable they are allowed to continue.

I had an account and was unable to pay my invoivces on the app or the website due to bugs or links simply not working. I attempted to reactivate my service through the app and the website, could not find my plan or options to reactivate my service. I tried to reach out to customer service on their email and got NOTHING in response. I AM TRYING TO GIVE THEM MONEY but I get no response and their services do not work online nor in-app. I liked using them but they have made it impossible to get my meds and will have to use a different service now. Cannot recommend because they may randomly make getting your meds impossible, which can be detrimental to our mental health, which they pretend to care so much about.

I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars! They were VERY responsive when I first signed up, and quick to prescribe, but ghosted me when I needed an adjustment. I finally canceled, and they kept trying to charge my credit card. Luckily for me, it is an FSA credit card and it kept denying their attempts. Go through your PCP instead! Edited to add: I love how they comment on reviews to contact their customer service reps, yet if these customers are like me, you already have and they’ve ghosted you, too! And if you try to charge my card again (unauthorized I might add!), I’m pushing this further. This company needs shut down. And to those rating it 5 stars, unfortunately, you’ll find out soon enough .

I purchased cerebral to help with moderate depression, insomnia, and ADHD. What I got was zero compassion or bedside manner. My provider said my responses just need to be "yes" or "no". If all you want is a yes or no answer then just refer to the assessments clients are forced to complete prior to the "appointment" which are the exact same questions. My "provider" did not care or listen to my responses and immediately wanted to put me on a cerebral suicide watch and said she would have to recommend me to go to a mental institution if I didn't answer the redundant questions correctly even though I made it *explicitly* clear that while yes I have depression, I have zero intention or desire to hurt myself or others. I explained that I was not looking for help with my depression as I have had very bad experiences with depression medication and was only seeking help with ADHD, but she said 1.) they can't even prescribe that anymore (check their DOJ investigation) and 2.) anything with depression or anxiety would have to be fixed first. I would think that a "health provider" would know that both conditions can exist simultaneously. She said at best she could suggest a depression medication (again, not listening to anything I was saying). I do think they are engaging in false advertising if they can't even provide anything in regard to ADHD, but advertise that as a service. It was a total waste of money and I don't recommend.

A complete SCAM. They make money by prescribing you meds and then make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. They are non-responsive and it is also very difficult to actually get your prescription from them. I have spent countless hours cancelling, talking to support, and talking to my insurance get them to stop billing me. The government also found them to be too sketchy to prescribe certain controlled substances, which does not indicate to me that they are legit at all. Seems so fraudulent.

My membership with Cerebral was fine for several months, then it went downhill very quickly. I started having trouble getting my meds refilled the last couple of months. CVS would contact me stating that they couldn't get in touch with provider to get a refill. So I would contact Cerebral via email, chat, phone (never reached anyonevia phone), etc, and it would take a while to get a response. I would get all sorts of excuses, like my provider claiming CVS never contacted them, etc. They would also tell me I was overdue for a call with my provider and care counselor. They were supposed to remind you when these calls were needed, but they never did, it was always after the fact when I was trying to get my meds. The only person at Cerebral who I found helpful was my care counselor Nikki. Although I had a therapist outside of Cerebral, I really didn't need a care counselor with Cerebral. Unfortunately Nikki was laid off. I was assigned a new care counselor, but I was assigned a male. I told them I preferred a female, so they provided a link to pick a female. I chose one who had availability within a few days and scheduled a session. She canceled the session without any explanation. While the above was happening, I had been trying to get my meds refilled for over a week and had been off my meds for a few days. So my anxiety, irritability and frustration are increasing. The last email to them I stated that if i didn't get my meds refilled within 24 hours I would be cancelling my membership. Of course all I got were excuses, no meds. How can a mental heath medication provider have such horrible customer service, long response times and general lack of empathy for their members? Stay clear of this company.

From start to end, it was all bad. Couldn’t ever get medication on a routine basis. Like I would run out and they just wouldn’t refill them even after begging. I’m not talking about pain meds, but depression & anxiety meds. They seriously made me worse. Tried to get a new care counselor, nope can’t change…. You don’t like talking to someone 22 with who knows what kind of degree? Too bad your stuck with them…. They just have everything screwed up and can’t get it together…. Go somewhere else.
