It was very easy to sign up, and make an appointment. I didn't have to leave home, or wait months for an appointment. The counselors, and prescribers are very nice, and easy to talk to. I like how each one has a personal bio about them, so it's easy to find someone you feel like you can relate to. I was able to get a prescription and start medication after my first appointment, and am feeling better than I have in a long time.

She is a great listener, very positive and I feel a great fit for me and my journey.

For years I saw family members and close friends with severe ADHD in adulthood, Who grew up in a time when it was not diagnosed or treated in childhood, attempt to get support later I’m life and fail to find doctors and psychiatrist who didn’t drag their feet and make getting help extraordinarily difficult. I decided to try Cerebral when extraordinarily tragic and stressful life events exacerbated my ADHD symptoms to the point where it was becoming detrimental to my financial stability. There online assessments and available appointment times made it very easy to be seen within days of requesting an appointment. My doctor was knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and started treatment on day one after seeing my assessment test results. My best friend sign up with Cerebral the following week, and after years of being told that their other mental health diagnoses were the cause of the problem not ADHD, assessments here showed that ADHD medication‘s were strongly indicated. They started their medication on day one as well sister their first appointment, and experienced life changing relief and decrease to ADHD symptoms. If you are someone like the two of us who has lived without medication‘s to alleviate ADHD symptoms, who at long lasted try medication‘s that worked, you know how life changing and hope inspiring it is!!

I spent almost 30 years going from doctor to doctor, psychiatrists,pill to pill,but never got better. I was constantly suicidal,fed up,hopeless and frustrated. And I put my family through hell as well due to my issues. Offline psychiatrists do not treat you like the paying 'customer' that you are. They make three times more money per appointment than what Cerebral does and 90 percent of them have no bedside manner at all. They're allowed to act like that because no matter how horrid they are,our insurance companies still have to pay them 200-500$ per session!!! For 85$ a month I'm getting not only a prescriber but a counselor and 24 hour access to assistance via text message. I have access through the app to two different types of journaling,various mental health exercises and a panic button that I can use any time of day or night. They also ensure you never miss an appointment because they email,text and call before each one of your appointments! Nobody has ever been rude,judgemental, condescending and they've always heard me out. When I first joined Cerebral I showed to my first appointment angry,frustrated,expecting yet another failure and a 5 page manifesto in hand so I wouldn't forget to tell her 'everything' I'd been through offline. I was amazed,she sat patiently while I went on a rant for 20 minutes than spent more time asking me questions based on my story! I hate seeing the media now smearing them all over online! Telling one sided stories. They're saying Cerebral only spends 30 minutes diagnosing you... Ever been to an actual pysciatrist!? It's the same amount of time!! Sometimes less than 30 minutes. They knock the idea that you're seeing a nurse practitioner vs a doctor. Who cares? They work under a pysciatrist and in my offline care I have met so many horrible doctors,but never a horrible NP! Every NP I've ever seen offline or online has been way nicer and takes way more time with you! And they're never arrogant.They are qualified and also well-trained! They say they're not qualified to diagnose ADHD? Not even one,out of the 20 I ever saw (psychiatrists or doctors) ever correctly diagnosed my Borderline Personality Disorder or my ADHD. But they did make me choke down every pill available to date as of 2017. The sad part was I was in my 40's by that point,almost 30 years of misery until somebody finally got it right and tried to help me! I could spend all day telling you about all the horrible side effects,some permanent that I suffered while under the care of offline psychiatrists. And it was an offline NP who actually heard my story back in 2019 and tested me twice for ADHD. It's a shame that online news outlets aren't truly dishing out the real news right now. They're just on a witch hunt due to some mistakes that Cerebral might've made and learned from. But there's thousands of glowing reviews for a reason,because they did way more good than bad. Need convincing? Go to Google and type in "Psychiatrist Near Me" and read their reviews...then read Cerebral's...the proof is right there for everybody to see!!!! And yes,it is a counselor not a therapist you see however you can see a therapist too,it just costs a bit more,but it is offered. Any body who has spent years struggling and not being heard,try Cerebral. Online care is a world different than offline! And for all those giving bad reviews because they can't get controlled substances,it's not Cerebral's fault. They administered written tests and then an initial visit to try to accurately diagnose ADHD,anxiety,ECT. People got medication based on those written and video consults. They did no less than anybody else. But now they're being smeared,and often by offline practitioners,who probably treat their own patients like crap,have horrible reviews and can't admit that Cerebral helped thousands of people. And again,they get paid our insurance money by the billions,whether they are good or not,whether they are ethical or not. I'll give my hard earned money to Cerebral any day of the week,for way better care,the same amount of time per session and all the app features!

She took the time to hear me out. Went over all my options and gave me some information on therapy. Very positive first impression!
