They gave me a 100 dollar charge for medication management for a ten minute phone call where they told me my case was too advanced for them to manage due to my history of psychosis and are doing their best to say that was services rendered for medication management, which it literally wasn't. They aren't even offering a partial refund and kept shifting their goalposts, saying they could refund the therapy i hadn't taken yet, to trying to offer me a discount on the next month of a service that has only given me an upsetting experience, one i definitely don't want, so that they don't even have to refund that.

Canceled my membership, but it had been paid already for the month. No big deal because I wouldn't have minded the guided advice to taper off my medication. NOPE. As soon as you cancel a card with them, your subscription is null. Even though on the account it had said I was paid for the entire month, nope. They wouldn't let me see a care provider until I bitched to customer support where they sent a "special log in key" what kinda help is that. Imagine a mental health company dumping you like a girl because you don't got any more money going there way for the future. I paid for the service and did not get to use said service after payment. Complete bull.

The business works like this: The first month: You pay like $50, which includes: 1) Appointment with someone to evaluate you and prescribe meds. 2) The actual prescription. 3) Medication mailed to your doorstep (cost is included in the $50). 4) A monthly meeting with some kind of “mental health professional”. Every month thereafter: You pay like $100, which includes: 1) Medication mailed to your doorstep (cost is included in the $100). 2) A monthly meeting with some kind of “mental health professional”. If you’re thinking: “Wow, $50 is a good deal to see a mental health care professional who can evaluate me and get me what I need during these crazy times”, consider this: Cerebral is not licensed to prescribe certain mental health medication. It’s a shot in the dark whether you’ll get a prescription for what you need. In my case, I was given an alternate prescription, which I was not happy about. If you’re thinking: "They can probably prescribe me what I need. If they can, I'll get a therapy session and my medication for only $100 per month. What a deal!", consider this: You are not necessarily getting a licensed therapist every month. The mental health care professionals were mostly students from what I could tell, studying fields like social work. Not credentialed. Why would I trust my mental health with them? So what are you getting out of this transaction? In my case, not even medication. Cerebral says that my medication was delivered, but I never received it. Of course I’ve followed up with them at length asking for either a refund or to re-send the medication. No success. So I received nothing, and won’t recommend the service to anybody.

Paid and made an appointment. The therapist never showed up. I waited for an hour in the video call. I was incredibly depressed I couldn’t even pay someone to talk to me about my problems. They assured me it was a mistake and set up a new appointment. ONCE AGAIN THERAPIST DIDNT SHOW UP. Screw this company for stealing my money and making my depression even worse

The first time I joined I didn't mention that I'd had a lorazepam Rx. I figured I'd let their medical professional try to figure out the medication that could help my insomnia and anxiety. She got it wrong, I felt worse and then she prescribed (without consulting me) a hypertension medication (and I ALREADY take TWO BP medications) to treat insomnia. I looked it up. It is absolutely NOT for insomnia. So I complained and canceled my account. But then I still have problems getting a provider through my insurance because of the pandemic so I give them another try. This time I let them know I'd been prescribed lorazepam and would like to continue because I know it's worked. Instead I found out how it feels to have a medical professional speak to me like I'm a child (those medications are baaaaad). So their advertising lies about prescribing a controlled medication. Canceled for good. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Do yourself a favor and go through your insurance. Update: All those reviews that you cannot access? Cerebral is hard at work challenging us to provide proof that we are "verified" former clients. How incredible that this company is so aware of their failings that they work harder at making sure their reviews are real than to provide the services they advertise and help the client. SMH, LOL.

I signed up and got a care provider phone appointment the same day. Seems great right? Nope. My care provider had nice words but no nice intentions. Company is only most concerned with their monthly fee. I needed a Rx urgently and she promised she would submit my Rx to my local pharmacy within 30 minutes of our call ending. 4 days later and multiple phone calls and emails to support and I still do not have my Rx. I then stated I wanted to cancel service immediately and I wanted a refund or I was disputing the charges. Suddenly, my Rx is magically submitted to my pharmacy and I was informed because I had service preformed and my prescription is now (over 4 days later) available that they will not issue a refund but they'll give me 50% of next month. They don't care that due to my mental health and chronic severe insomnia, I hadn't slept more than a few hours in several days and extremely emotionally distraught. I had to miss one day of work, and spent the past 2 days at work crying uncontrollably throughout the day because I am so tired I can't function, as well as the severe depression and anxiety this situation caused me for 4 full days. They chose to engage in arguing with me in email rather than just helping me. *After submitting this review a different person responded stating that they spoke to a manager and a refund would be understandable in this situation - to wait 5-7 days for it. I will not remove or edit my review until my refund is received in full.

Horrible! If I could give zero stars I would. There good reviews must be fake. They couldn’t provide me service due to not having any available appointments and then would not give me a refund stating that they don’t give refunds regardless of whether service is provided. It is CRAZY! And they were still trying to push medications on me that I told them put me in psychosis! This is a joke and total scam, as I suspected. I wish I could post the email from them so everyone could see how they treat people with already mental health problems. This place should not be in business. I suspect they won’t for long.

SCAM... They said they were available in my state, then they charged my credit card, then they called to say they were not available in my state, then they refused to refund my card saying I had to pay for the call letting me know they were not available in my state. TOTAL SCAM FINAL EDIT: I did have someone higher up the ladder at this company contact me. They verified everything I stated above was true. So I did eventually get my money back. ROUGHLY 100 DAYS SINCE MY "FINAL EDIT" : IMHO Cerebral is the shadiest, most unethical, most petty, and most corrupt company I have ever dealt with in 62 years... and that is saying a lot since I fought Ford in court for over 2 years to force them to buy back a lemon that they themselves admitted was unsafe to drive. CEREBRAL JUST CONTACTED TRUSTPILOT TO SAY THAT MY REVIEW WAS FAKE AND THAT I NEVER DID ANY BUISINESS WITH THEM. I WAS GIVEN 3 DAYS TO PROVE MY REVIEW WAS REAL SO I SENT TRUSTPILOT CEREBRAL'S EMAILS TO ME. MAKE NOTE: MY REVIEW OF CEREBRAL IS NOW A VERIFIED REVIEW. Now just imagine how many 1 star reviews Cerebral has gotten deleted over time by just waiting long enough until people either didn't want to waste their time on something like this, or because so much time had gone by that they no longer had the "proof" to supply. After seeing this petty game Cerebral is playing with valid negative reviews, IMHO the 1 star reviews on here could possibly be 400% higher or even more... but they let time pass and then claim they are fake reviews and they get them deleted. I would not trust Cerebral to return a penny that they watched me drop, let alone for any kind of medial related service. AVOID CEREBRAL OR YOU JUST MIGHT REGRET IT.
