**** I know there are MANY 5 stars but don't stop there. Honestly; I wish my review could be one of the first to show. I've suffered from debilitating anxiety and depression since I was very, very young (I'm 50 now). My advice, read the lower star reviews, you can see how genuine they are in their review. UPDATE AT BOTTOM (4/22/2021) I would not recommend this establishment to ANYONE suffering from panic attacks and/or severe depression. I waited a month for an appointment (in the mean time they had started taking money before I even spoke to a provider). I got on my video chat and was completely floored by the so called help. I was told in a matter of 10mins that the FNP (NOT a mental health doctor) could not help me and no one at Cerebral could. Prior to making an appointment I had in depth conversations with the coordinators. I explained in detail exactly what I had been diagnosed with and what I needed help with. They assured me I would be able to receive help with any of their providers. In hindsight, it all seems like a front to get another person on board and get money. The first thing you see on their site is "Expert Help For Your Emotional Health Help for anxiety & depression". I strongly suggest to Cerebral (if you see this), that you be upfront with what exactly you are capable of providing to those who have mental health problems. You DEFINITELY have people hired that have no business working in the mental health industry. Do yourself a favor and seek help from a professional mental health care physician if you suffer from mental health issues. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I did read reviews here and saw many who had difficulty getting their money back and being able to cancel their service. I did myself a favor and screen shot every single thing between us and was able to finalize everything. ( UPDATE ) : Along with several others who wrote a review (not to the liking of Cerebral), I too was emailed and asked to remove my post. No one should feel as hopeless as I did during my appt. My review will stay as I wholeheartedly stand by what I said. If my experience helps even one person avoid more angst then my review did it's job.

I went to cerebral because I was desperate to find a psychiatrist who could help me navigate my depression. Last year I lost a pregnancy at 6 months and have not been able to bounce back. I am a nurse and have been working covid units, which has been really hard and definitely not helped my depression. I’m so busy that the convenience and specialization of cerebral appealed to me. I called and the intake provider I spoke with was really great, but after opening up to her and talking for 45 minutes I found out that I would not be talking to her again and that cerebral would be assigning me a different provider. I initially signed up for meds and therapy but the process of getting an appointment with a therapist was miserable. I paid for weekly appointments but couldn’t schedule an appointment with a therapist that I felt like could connect with that MONTH (I was looking for a woman with some experience or focus on my issues - really shouldn’t be a huge ask). After going back and forth a ton I finally decided to pursue therapy elsewhere but thought I’d try the psychiatry team because my intake provider was so good. Well, talk about a bait and switch. The provider I ended up getting assigned to (over six weeks later), ANGELA RASHEED, was literally the worst provider I have ever encountered — and I work in an enormous hospital with hundreds and hundreds of doctors, PAs and NPs. She was insulting, hostile, arrogant and unkind. She would cut me off every other word. I swear I didn’t finish one sentence. It was awful. I reported what happened and asked that our call be reviewed. They apologized and offered me an appointment with another provider but guess when I can see her? The end of May! (It’s mid-April now). If you are reading this review because you need help managing your depression, please heed my warning and seek help elsewhere. I spent 10x more time trying to schedule appointments than I did receiving services. It was stressful and disappointing. I left feeling shamed, insulted and unheard. I would never treat my patients this way. I am also 100% convinced that the majority of the positive reviewers are fake. There is literally no way someone could like this service. They offered me 30% off to stay. Honestly if I was getting paid for using this service it would still be too expensive.

I have requested to have this service canceled multiple time but the company still charges me and says I cannot cancel. The price was not as advertised, the rate goes up each month and I just want to cancel. Update. I was told they wouldn’t try to charge me again even though they agreed that they saw my old cancellation request. So, it seems to be “resolved”. Below is my last email to them. Where as I am glad that this seems to be over, you have to understand my frustration. I have contacted you to cancel multiple times. Expressed my concerns and was informed to fill out a form that I have filled out multiple times. The cancellation process should not be this difficult. It’s a bait and switch business model, in my opinion, and once you have the customer/ patient’s bank information you charge what you wish and won’t let them cancel. It’s stressful and upsetting and it’s counter productive for a service that is suppose to help you with such things. Thank you for not charging me for a service I didn’t use and have requested to cancel already, but your customer service seems to have chose to ignore that request and charge my bank account regardless. As requested by you, I will update my review that this issue is finally over. Thank you

ZERO stars. I have had NOTHING but difficulties with Cerebral since I joined on March 18th. My questions are ignored while everyone has a nice two day weekend while I am having extreme panic attacks with no medication or help whatsoever. I am constantly being treated as if I am some kind of drug addict when I am not. None of the 3 therapists I have seen have offered me ANY kind of tools to work with WHATSOEVER, I was told to breath deep and put an ice cube on my face, that's all they could do for me. The provider never took my history and medical history into consideration as it took me a lot of trying to prove my point to get my old medication that helps with panic attacks, and only 7 pills were what she equipped me with while knowing I am having severe panic attacks on a daily basis. She keeps talking about long term treatment but isn't concerned with any kind of temporary help for me it is astonishing how much hell I have been though with these people to try and get someone to help me. Cerebral has caused me more stress than I am already dealing with and I have asked for my money back only to be ignored once again and told that I have a discount for next month. What if I don't want to continue with your horrible services? I am in a worse place now than I was before I began Cerebral and I am outraged at how dismissive everyone has been. How could mental health "professionals" treat someone this way?! I am taking all of this to my lawyer as I have been completely mistreated.

I keep trying to cancel my program. I just got sent medication I no longer use. Cancel this program and send confirmation of same

I decided to try out the service do to my anxiety and depression starting at the beginning of January 2021 after going through therapy my old therapist suggested I try meds to help.So I looked for the best alternative since the whole covid situation was and still is going on and I had just had a newborn so I decided cerebral would be a safer. The first month they seemed interested in prescribing me meds so I talked to the doctor she prescribed me and sayed she would follow up in a month or so .Sadly that never happened Even after I constantly asked to speak with a doctor about side effects I was having that were really concerning strange heart palpitations trouble breathing and passing out ,as well as hallucinations. So you could imagine I had a hard time doing my job as I worked for a bank providing correct information to customers and servicing accounts I was afraid of being liable for a mistake caused by my side effects.ultimately at the end it cost me my job at Wells Fargo. I found it strange how I was never able to speak with the therapist from cerebral since she decided to reschedule each and every session or would say she couldnt hear me when I would try to connect through a video chat session. Keep in mind I was still being charged a monthly service fee for a service I never received. I tried to stop taking the meds it made everything worse withdrawal side effects and all in all I was worse than when I started.I reached out to the provider several times through email and the online chat platform they have.I received the same response about following up with the doctor ,and if your guessing they never did, you are right. By this time my employer was asking me to file fmla paperwork that obviously required a medical provider to fill out I reached out to both the doctor and the service provider and received a generic response to send the paperwork and they would take care of it .They Never did , it's been around two weeks since I ran out of meds and was fired ,not sure what to do anymore Im trying to stay positive,as you can imagine loosing my job has made this hopeless as I lost all my medical benefits and I can't provide for my child he's the only one keeping me from trying to escape this .

I was never able to complete the intake process and requested refund. They not only took $25 dollars (so called special) but charged an unauthorised $114 to my account. They totally ripped me off and I received no services what so ever. It's a con game.

I canceled and you stole money from my account also the therapist was late to our meeting forcing us to miss it and then did not have another available time for two months
