Worst system for mental health I have encountered. You guys are a detriment to society.

You only get a 30 minute session once a month for $85. They ordered another month's worth of medicine before my second appointment, they didn't even verify if it works for me or if I need my dosage upped before they just decided to order another without even letting me know. I also felt like most of the appointment was just the care counselor rambling rather than her actually asking me questions and letting me speak. EDIT 6/15: I have just received an email from trustpilot that getcerebral has flagged my review. They are trying to take down bad reviews of them and silence those of us who had bad experiences with them.

They waited 2 and a half months to let me know they don't have a therapist for my state. They are unethical and give you the runaround. The absolute worst.

I canceled my account on May 19th. On June 6th I was billed again. I contacted support and was told they could not refund my money, because I didn't cancel in time. I canceled on May 19th. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau. *Update* I was finally given a refund. I have received no less than 5 emails begging me to remove this review for a refund, I said I would and got my money back. Now I really would not recommend. Please stop emailing me. I will not remove my bad review. Thanks

Thought I would give them a try. Started a profile but was unable to finish it in one sitting. When I signed back in their system immediately wanted my credit card info even though I had not finished my assessment. So I used another email and this time again they want you to pay them before they even let you know if they can help you. Got to the part where you check if your insurance will cover their service. Had a problem with that and contacted them through email. Have received no help whatsoever. What would take someone five minutes to do is taking them a week. Yet, I am flooded with emails and texts asking me how their service is going for me. I do not see how this place is staying in business. What a waste of time and money. Exploitation of a segment of the population that can easily be taken advantage of. This should be illegal. Update: 060421 Just received a reply on Trustpilot, not directly from Cerebral for me to Contact support@cerebral and Stephanie can assist me. I'm skeptical because with three requests: 454396, 450202 and 456448 with Maria, Rico, Catherine and Kyle all replying nothing has been resolved yet. This must be a joke right? Update: 060521 Finally received an email from another coodinator from Cerebral letting me know that my insurance is not one that is accepted by their company. My problem with that is that during sign up their drop down menu lists my insurance company as an option, giving me the impression that they are in network. This is not so. As of this writing there are only about 10 companies across the US that are considered in network with Cerebral. It certainly would have been nice to know this during sign up but their system is not set up to be that simple. I still think it is wrong that this company will take your money without you even knowing what services it may bet that they can provide. i signed up with them as a friend had signed up and was having a good experience so far. Now after my friends first session with a counselor that they really liked they are unable to get another session with the same counselor as that counselor is booked out for several months. It looks like Cerebral is in for a lot of growing pains but would benefit from taking the time to try to forsee some of what these problems may be so that they can prevent them repeating.

Absolutely terrible

I think it’s a little overpriced. It’s worth it to get the Fluoxetine I need monthly, but it’s advertised as a therapist and a medication provider, and the first appointment I had with my therapist he said “I’m not really a therapist, I’m more of a case manager for you”. I don’t like being misled by advertising, I’ll probably leave once my health insurance from my new job kicks in.

Molly V. (The person who responds to all these 1 star reviews) is a NARC and doesn’t exist. I challenge anyone to try to call that number or email their support and “ask for her personally”. You will be waiting until your head explodes from the anxiety cerebral has caused you. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Edit: Thanks for the automated reply below Stephanie! Asking for you vs. Molly makes no difference in me not being able to get connected with anyone to resolve the stress Cerebral has caused me. 2nd edit: Cerebral flagged this review because they don’t believe it is authentic. Just take a look at all the other 1 star reviews and tell me this wasn’t a truly horrible experience I had that caused me to so intently try to keep people away from them.
