I love how there is a more affordable but
I love how there is a more affordable option and I was easily able to start back up on my anxiety medication. However I often feel rushed off my appointments. Sometimes it feels like they just want to make sure I still need the medication I’m on and don’t want to have a real conversation.

Not worth the money
I just use this app for medication management, and definitely don't feel like i get my money's worth. I pay about $90 a month just for access, regardless if I see my provider or not, and then my medications are another $120 a month. My care liason isn't someone I vibe with and only meet with for like 10 minutes every 2 months because his schedule doesn't match mine, and my nurse practitioner only needs to visit with me once every 3 months because I've been stable on my meds. As soon as I find a reliable alternative, I'll be canceling my plan with cerebral, because this isn't sustainable. Edit: they did refund me the cost of my March subscription and gave me 50% off of April and May, so that's at least something.

The psychiatrist is great
The psychiatrist is great! The people that work for cerebral on the other hand, not so much. I found my care counselor to be very rude and condescending.

People are great, but availability is an issue
The providers and councilors that have helped me are phenomenal. My issue is the lack of availability. I often find myself emailing support to secure a session. This effects my prescription because the 30-day supply results in a lapse of medication if I cannot get the prescription refilled in time.

Talk therapy
I believe it was about a a year ago that I started with Cerebral. For the first little bit I was happy with them. My therapist slowly got to the point where she would just show me videos for half our session and I didn't even realize I wasn't making any progress. I liked her a lot as a person; but the talk therapy and videos just didn't work for me. I only did the therapy as I already had a psychiatrist. It's pretty difficult to get your itemized receipts to submit to insurance (No they don't give them to you automatically). If that's something you need just make sure you remember to request them. I found a different therapist that's a better fit for me. Cerebrals pay structure was also stressful for me while I was trying to balance everything else. I wasn't a fan of the reccuring payments or the insurance situation. I think if talk therapy is all you need (again I have no experience with their medication services) it's a good option. Just make sure you read everything through and that you find the right therapist within their services.

6 months with Cerebral
I have only been with Cerebral for 6 months but am on my third provider due to the first 2 leaving with no warning. It was frustrating at first to be shuffled around so often and even left without my meds for a week because there was no provider available to authorize a refill. I am now satisfied with my current provider. I feel like the actually analyzed and discovered the root cause of my anxiety being related to undiagnosed and untreated ADHD. I have been doing much better with the regime she has prescribed me. I love my care counselor. She is so bright, bubbly, and personable. I feel that she truly listens to me because she always starts our session by recapping the last and recalls a lot of details. The care team is always responsive whenever I have questions and helpful when I am having issues with scheduling.
