I have been using Central Transport since 2014 to ship for our company. Since 2020 they have resorted to up-charging every load we book with them. They lure you in with a low price and then add on charges which are always without any merit. They do everything in their power to rob their customers. We have removed them from our list of carriers as should everyone.

We used Central Transport exclusively for the last 10+ years. We even spoke with one of our major suppliers and was able to get them allowed back on their property for pickups. My issue is regarding a recent shipment for (3) A/C units that mysteriously just disappeared....lost pallet they say. Filed a claim for an amount that just covered our cost of the product. I'm told that they are only paying $862 of the $1869 out of pocket cost to us. I lost the sale to our buyer and another $1007 because they "Lost" the pallet. I've already started looking for another LTL carrier to replace them.

This is the worst company to deal with. They've missed over 10 pickup appointments for our shipments to Amazon. Every day they say they are coming and give you a time window, that passes and you call again and they give you a new window that day and then never show up. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Absolutely the worst carrier to deal with, avoid them if you can.

It would be -20 if i could. Aweful company to deal with. The rep will sign your company up to ship at certain prices and then when the invoices start coming they have 100s of dollars added to it. Rep says oh sorry I made a mistake and didn't have you on the right program. No help from her after that. Her mistake not mine. She probably didn't want to lose her bonuses. Then they start harassing your customers to pay the difference while you are trying to get it straightened out with them. Its a family run company and they have young twits call you and your customers relentlessly try to collect the money they claim you owe while your trying to work it out with them. Lost a lot of customers over their harassing phone calls and letters. Now they've got collection lawyers involved. Unbelievably ruthless. If you want to take your chances shipping with them good luck.

I would give NEGATIVE stars if the option existed. Use ANY other carrier because Central just does NOT care if they (1) lose YOUR SHIPMENT ENTIRELY, and (2) feel no responsibility for being a roadblock in the ongoing commerce of other businesses, and (3) feel entitled to completely disregard their ineptitude and (4) expect to get paid - WHILE YOUR SHIPMENT HAS GONE AWOL and they aren't even trying to find what they've lost.

a rip off and scammer transport carrier (central transport ) . damaged my shipment that costs $3k and wanted to settled for $11.75 liability payment .!!!!!!!yes eleven dollars and seventy five cents . and this decision took place after 2 months after item damaged , so be wise and do not use this scammer carrier . a bunch of non professional and broken dirty equipment handling the shipping. they better have a good explanation in front of the judge .. in the court of law soon .

This company is absolutely terrible. They make an appointment and don't show, then make another appointment and don't show. As of this moment when I write this review they have 98% ONE STAR reviews. What does that tell you?

Delivery keeps getting push for tomorrow and tomorrow. Every day I call, I get the told, "It appears that your shipment will be delivered tomorrow, sorry for the inconvenience, but the warehouse is low on personnel". My first shipment is 8 days late and my second shipment was delivered before the first shipment, but incomplete. Somehow part of the shipment was left behind at the warehouse in Denver Colorado. I'll never use Central Transport LLC ever again.
