Very disappointed in Central Transport services. They were supposed to deliver flooring to me on Monday, it was delayed to Tuesday and they gave me time frame of arrival and I requested they call before they get there so we could open the garage to off load the 3,500#'s of flooring. We got no phone call, they arrived earlier that the window, dropped one pallet at the top of our driveway near garage and two pallets on the curb in the road. Those other pallets were someone else's order - not mine - it had a label to be delivered in IL, we are in OK. I spent lots of time on the phone with both Home Depot (where we ordered the flooring) & trying to contact Central Trasport was very difficult. Finally, I was able to start an email chain to ask them to pick up the over 2,000#'s of flooring that was not mine in my driveway. Not to mention, when I texted the number that gave me the delivery window, I was told they haven't delivered yet - I sent them pictures to prove that indeed they had delivered - it was just a mess!!! I would not recommend using this delivery service - there are definitely some issues with communication & general customer service. I did give 2 stars due to the fact that my flooring did arrive - I do feel bad for the person in IL because their flooring never made it to the proper destination. I do not like giving out bad reviews - however, I do hope they can use this as constructive criticism and make corrections in the future. **I would like to update that they did call me today & apologize. They are sending a truck to pick up today.

I lost a $2,600 package. They will pick up even when you cancelled the shipment. Then they refuse to return the inventory shipment unless a full charge of $2100 is paid. I never review a company. However, this company is terrible and a small claims court date has already been set. Have inventory returned or cash value reimbursed. Absolute criminals. NEVER allow a pick up by Central Transport. Especially when it is designated as the shipping company used.

Terrible service, and the clean process is so terrible. I get stonewashed to every department, bouncing around to different departments. I lost a $6,000 package. I have pictures as proof of the driver being lazy and just leaving our packages to a customer. Just let me write on the ground. I usually don't leave reviews for this. Terrible.

Worst of the worst don’t use them

I had an excellent experience with Central Transport. They were very accommodating in scheduling a delivery date that worked best for me. Everyone I spoke with, from the customer service representatives to the delivery driver, was polite, professional, and friendly. My shipment arrived exactly as expected and was delivered in perfect condition. I truly appreciate the great service and would not hesitate to use Central Transport again. Highly recommended!

I don't know that they have ever delivered on time. They schedule deliveries on the one day a week that we are closed. If they can't make the delivery, they update the status of the shipment to "Attempted to deliver" and don't show at all. I called and waited on the phone for nearly an hour to talk to someone. They told me they would schedule the delivery first thing the next morning..... The next morning... I called and they told me it wouldn't be here for another day. Now we are on the third day of waiting..... Yesterday, I was told by "Jessica" that she would make sure this was delivered today and that she would be following up with me at 10 am to confirm everything.... No delivery. No call from Jessica. Still waiting. If you need things in a timely manner, expect professional help and customer service..... Use another company! I've dealt with some difficult shipping companies over the years and I know that things happen from time to time, but this company is horrible. And they make it very clear that they couldn't care less about their customers. Even searching for reviews on them shows that they are consistent with this type of service across the board. 1.3 star rating. (They've managed to get themselves an extra 0.3 rating by posting a 5 star review of themselves). I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but figured I had the time while I sit here and continue to wait on hold.

The wrong pallet was picked up (our fault). We noticed within 5 minutes after the driver left. There is only 1 phone number for all locations. We emailed, we tried to schedule a reroute, we called several times, we kept researching corporate and individual hubs for contact info. We finally called Virnich (who hired Central Transport). After a collective hold time of over 1-1/2 hours, we were able to speak to an actual person. That person promptly sent us back to the main menu. They don't even pretend to offer customer service. We know it was initially our mistake and that we would be charged A LOT because of it. We just wanted our product back so it could be sent to the correct customer.

The label shipment was on a hefty pallet, with strapping and corner protection plus blue shrink wrapping. When it arrived, it had obviously been through very tough times, as I noted to the driver. The pallet was broken, straps and corner protection gone, with some new clear shrink wrapping! Five of the eight boxes were damaged, with content damage noted. I filed a claim with Central Transport and they responded that the shipment had been received as they had accepted it, which was a complete lie! They offered $30 for about $450 dollars damage to the contents of the damaged boxes. This seems to be a totally disreputable company.
