I booked car hire via Easyjet and paid a premium for the highest insurance available. Upon arrival at Faro airport the system to find the car hire company was ridiculous you have to call (they didn't answer 10 calls) or whatsapp them and there is no option arrange to pick the car up. Eventually I saw one of their vans and spoke to the driver who agreed to take me to their office which is not at the airport. Here I met the rudest man I have ever dealt with who told me I had 2 options 1) Pay 2100 euros deposit 2) Pay 263 euros and no deposit was needed Both options also required me to pay 150 euros for the tolls. I said I would prefer to pay the 2100 euros as I had a higher premium insurance that I had already paid extra for. They would not accept a debit card payment, nor would they accept a credit card payment from the additional driver so we had no alternative but to pay the additional 263 euros. The total of my toll usage came to 5 euros - I now have to wait for the remaining 145 to be refunded, this had to be paid via debit card (how convenient)!!!!!!!!! The whole thing is a total scam and has left a VERY bitter taste - I will NEVER use Easyjet car hire again

Easyjet Cars are the link between the customer and the car rental companies, as such I believe it is reasonable to expect them to vet and select reputable car rental companies. I used Easyjet to rent a car in Fiumicino (Rome), they in turn used Target Rental to provide the vehicle. Target rental is an extremely unprofessional and unpleasant company to deal with. They employ coercive sales techniques at the vehicle collection point, in order to increase the cost of the rental, e.g. by insisting that only Target's insurance excess premium is valid to avoid additional charges for damage, theft, etc. I believe Easyjet have a moral duty to ensure that the vendors they select to represent, are reputable and competent, clearly from my own experience and countless others who shared similar experiences on Trust Pilot, Target Car Rental fall way short of providing a minimum acceptable standard of service. If Easyjet has any moral compass they would be setting the standard that their vendors must achieve, then monitor and hold them accountable if they fall below those standards, including removing them from their supply chain. Due to coercive sales techniques and playing on my ignorance and inability to fact check what they told me, I capitulated and purchased additional excess insurance cover (despite telling the sales agent that I had my own excess insurance policy) from Target Rental which more than doubled the overall cost of the vehicle rental. To add insult to injury, it was clear from the car supplied and countless others in the Carpark, that the income from rental and insurance is never spent on repairing the vehicles, or even cleaning them to an expectable standard. Target got a 2 star rating, the 1 star rating for Easyjet Cars is because this is not their first rodeo, they are a market leader and have the critical mass to ensure that vendors in their supply chain meet or exceed a minimum reasonably acceptable standard of service. Lesson learned for me, and I recommend others to go direct with the established rental companies, budget supplier are more expensive in reality and a lot more unpleasant to deal with.

Nous avions loué une voiture via easyjet, à Londres, avec une location de siège auto pour notre fille de 3 ans ! Arrivés sur place, nous avons tourné en rond pendant 3 heures avant de réussir à trouver la voiture. C'était une simple boite à clés dans un garage sous terrain, sans personne pour nous accueillir ! Le pompon a été l'absence de siège auto pour notre fille. Quand j'ai appelé on m'a simplement dit d'aller en acheter un nous mêmes !! Notre location était sous-traitée par Drivalia !! A FUIR A TOUT PRIX !!! Des incompétents, incapables et sans aucun service client derrière. Cela fait maintenant plus de 4 mois que j'attends le remboursement du siège auto qu'on m'avait promis !! Une HONTE !!!

I helped my brother book a car to pick up at Olbia airport. We paid for it online to Easyjet. When arrived in Olbia to pick up the car, my brother was asked a credit card by the EasyJet local car hire company and they would not accept a debit card. When he called EasyJet they said they could not make a refund. Awful experience for my brother, that ruined their first vacation day. Do not rent cars from EasyJet.

Purchased a voucher for a 5 day Budget car hire at Tivat (ref ME129038830) via Easyjet car hire. On arrival we were informed that we may not be entitled to hire the car as our flight was delayed by 2 hours. They then said we could hire the car but had to pay an additional £111 insurance on top of the EasyJet insurance, otherwise they would not give us the car. I explained I had a UK policy to cover any excesses but they still refused. Try and raise a complaint with EasyJet and you are directed to a Booking Manager which takes you through an AI chat to nowhere. Don't use Easyjet car hire and certainly don't use Budget/Avis at Tivat Airport

Voleurs et arnaqueurs !!! Site à prohiber absolument !! A notre arrivée à l'agence SC CAR RENTALS à l'aéroport de Catania, notre voiture de location réservée via EasyJet plusieurs semaines auparavant, avec paiement d'un supplément pour bénéficier d'un GPS, n'avait pas le GPS réservé : le loueur a invoqué que nous n'avions qu'à utiliser nos téléphones avec notre forfait internet perso... pourquoi le site propose t-il ce service alors ?! C'est honteux, d'autant que nous avions 45 mn de route à faire en pleine campagne sicilienne, à plus de 23h, et oui, car l'avion EasyJet avait eu 2 heures de retard ! Le loueur ne nous a pas non plus expliqué quoi que ce soit sur les options de la voiture, même pas le carburant à mettre... par contre, pour nous prélever 500 euros de caution, il a pris le temps ! A notre retour, nous avons parfaitement lavé la voiture, restituée en parfait état, en tous cas sans l'avoir abîmée, et voilà qu'on vient de nous prélever de nouveau 50 dollars !!!!!! Et sans explication par mail ni rien !! Mais ça va aller jusqu'où ce vol ?
