I am a school based therapist who is not currently billing. I needed a basic, low-cost, straightforward platform for documentation that is also HIPAA compliant. Carepatron fits all of the criteria. It is user friendly and easy to navigate with an abundance of features. While it is advertised as "free", please understand that it is completely free up to 1GB of storage. I quickly went through that amount between documentation and treatment plans and had to upgrade to a paid plan.

There are some areas that are difficult for me to navigate. Over time I have gotten better, but the claims/billing/invoicing sections are hard for me to figure out.

I like the flexibility. and enjoy the ready templates. I would like more option in the receipt function and get a picture when clients don't pay every session
