CarePatrol was a Godsend for our family!
I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with CarePatrol! Heinz Kosser was my Senior Care Adviser and did an exceptional job. Due to the nature of my father's illness, the challenges we faced were numerous and Heinz handled them all with compassion and respect. We were moving Dad to Indianapolis from Dallas so the logistics of that alone were a struggle. In addition, my father was very resistant to placement in a senior community. With the stress of facing this task, I had nowhere to begin but with a phone book (do they even exist anymore?!) My sister knew of the existence of CarePatrol from using your service with her mother-in-law in Nashville, Tennessee, and contacted Heinz initially. We met and he conducted a very thorough interview to get an idea of what we were looking for. The value of him lining that up and narrowing it down to facilities that met our needs AND were clean and safe with good board of health reviews was invaluable. As we began our search, Heinz knew to give me space when I needed it and nudge me when I procrastinated. He prepared the staff of each facility we toured so that they were ready for my disgruntled father. ;-) He accompanied us on visits and helped us ask questions I never would have thought to ask. Then, with so many decisions and stressors weighing on me and the clock ticking, I trusted Heinz enough to say, “I would like a meeting where we will sit down and I will not get up until you have helped me come to a decision.” And that we did. What could have been a nightmare was turned into a wonderfully positive experience for myself and my family. The facility we chose has turned out to be a Godsend. One cannot put a price on the peace of mind I have each day knowing how safe and well taken care of my father is. There is no way I could have done it without Heinz's guidance, expertise, persistence, efficiency, and above all, kindness.
