The representative we contacted was absolutely outstanding. She was proactive and very informed. She had excellent contacts and was very caring in a very difficult situation. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Tammy Higginbotham was great. She showed me five facilities and st a later date went back to see two of the facilities again. She has going over and beyond her duties to make sure we did the right thing for our mother. I would and already have recommended her to other families that need help finding a place. Our experience with CarePatrol was excellent! Finding the Assisted Living community that is perfect for my mom and for our situation was made SO much easier because CarePatrol was there to help. The wonderful people associated with CarePatrol were knowledgeable and compassionate. I am deeply grateful and highly recommend CarePatrol.

Compassionate, understanding, proactive, attentive- all describe Cilla. She made an incredibly difficult process manageable. She has a great way of leading into decisions; you can trust that she is a person of her word and goes above and beyond when things got complicated.

We could not have been able to locate a place for Gram without the help of CarePatrol. The people we dealt with were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the process of moving from hospital to rehab to assisted living it was amazing. They knew exactly what information we needed and even helped us ask the right questions at the care meetings. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are for the help they provided at a time when we needed it most. Thankfully the social worker at the hospital put us in contact with CarePatrol. I cannot imagine what we would have done with them.

This is the 2nd time we have used Care Patrol. The first time was with a woman named Cristie in California. We had fantastic results placing our mom in an independent / assisted living environment with her, so when our family was moving to the Boise / Meridian area, we reached out to Cristie to connect us with the representative from Care Patrol in that area. We gave Doug our parameters….told him mom had short term memory loss, gave him our financial budget, HAD to be able to take her kitty, but other than that she was fully functioning. In turn, he sent us sheets on 5 different places. He told us that, given our parameters, these 5 were a good fit, but in addition, he checked out their violations to make sure that none were serious. As a family, we all flew out and inspected them, showed them to mom, and we decided on one of the places on the list. When it was time to move, we contacted the facility and they were wonderful getting mom set up and moved. But once we were there and got settled, I noticed that most of the residents were not very active or social (which was not evident on the "tour"). A few days later, when Doug called and asked me how the move went, I mentioned this to him and that's when I found out that this facility was filled with brain injured, Alzheimer & dementia residents. which was NOT disclosed to us when we toured. I ended up having to quickly do my own research & move her out into a different facility before she got so depressed from being around people that couldn't communicate or anyone that was active. I learned the following: *Not all services are equal. The woman from Care Patrol in California went around and visited ALL the facilities, so she knew what would be better for each individual. She would recommend a facility based on the person's need, NOT just because she had a contract with them. NOT TRUE with Doug. Doug only referred us to facilities that he had a contract with, regardless of the fact that this was NOT the best place for mom. We ended up spending about $5700.00 extra (deposits, rent - had to give them a 30 day notice in order to move mom after 7 days, and to hire a moving company to move her) to get her out of that dreadful place and into the perfect environment for her. *Don't schedule a "tour". When you do that, they show you what they want you to see. Because we had a tour at a scheduled time, the original facility that Doug referred us to were on their best behavior. We were told that some of the residents worked and they showed us an activities calendar that was very active. The activity calendar that was reality was nothing like the one in their marketing packet. Stay away from Care Patrol in the Meridian / Boise area.
