HEATHER GLEN SENIOR LIVING We visited Heather Glen in order to find a place for a family member who required Personal Care. As we entered the building, we saw an expansive lobby well lit by natural light emitting from the ceiling skylights. There were staff members about; there was music playing, we heard quiet conversations and laughter. We sat in front of a lit fireplace while we waited to meet the representative for our tour. Considering all of this, our first impression was very positive, which only got better the more time we spent at Heather Glen that morning. After meeting with Donna, Community Relations Director, Jody, the Director of Wellness, and taking a tour of the facility, we knew that Heather Glen would be a perfect fit for our loved one. We had an issue with time but the staff worked with us to make the move-in seamless. James, the Environmental Services Director, moved furniture within the room, hung all our pictures, installed a bracket for the TV, and replaced the refrigerator. Tim, the executive chef, came by the room to meet our family member, as did Leigh Anne, the Activities Director, and Aaron, the RN on duty that day. We felt welcome and very much at ease, as we were about to say good-bye to our family member. Since then, we have been extremely impressed with the way in which the staff, most especially Donna, who is extraordinary, has made every effort to help our loved one get acclimated to his new home, encouraged him to participate in the many activities HG offers during the day, and accommodate his needs. She has taken a personal interest in his him and checks in with him frequently throughout the day. We love the physical lay out of the building, the many outdoor terraces and living rooms with fireplaces that provide a homey, welcoming place to be, the exercise equipment and putting green, the dining room with the many choices for homemade meals. We couldn’t be happier with Heather Glen for our family member and offer our highest recommendation. The Ofstein Family

Excellent! Ron Culyer with Care Patrol went well and above to help find and facilitate the move of "W" , aged 101 to Atria, Highland Crossing in Dec.2016 following the medical emergency of her son and caregiver. Ron provided prompt and knowledgeable information so that a decision and move could be made that ensured the care and comfort of "W". He helped me find resources and promptly set up homecare services until the move to Atria occurred. Ron Culyer also helped with the transition of "R" , her son, from a local rehabilitation medical center to an apt unit next to "W" at Atria some four months later. Ron Culyer worked with me over the past two years whenever need for services changed. He provided information and resources for hospital aftercare, options for rehabilitative services for both "W" and "R". He helped find overnight care sitters for "W" in March, 2018 shortly before her death. He continued to assist with resources for "R", who is now fully recovered. 'R" has recently moved to a Panorama senior housing apartment. Ron Culyer is a personable, knowledgeable and attentive professional who does his job exceptionally well. As a friend of 'R" and "W" that was called on to help in a less than easy set of circumstances, Ron Culyer was a welcomed voice and reliable resource. The care patrol "blue fleece blanket' that Ron gave "W" on the day she moved from her home to Atria wrapped "W" each day in warmth and comfort. The services of Care Patrol did likewise. My siblings and I tried to find a home for our mother and dad. We checked several places and settled on Heather Glen Senior Living. We liked the openness of the halls and large common areas. Dad is now living by himself and we know he is being taken care of daily.

Lisa was a life saver! She took the time to listen to all of our needs and found the perfect place for my mother to enjoy her senior years!

Anthony Coleman was really wonderful. He is knowledge and honest and caring. He treated us as if it were his mom that needed a place to go. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help and a gentle help.
