All families are forced by circumstances to deal with compelling and devastating challenges of which the families had no influence in either the making or shaping of the issue. Dementia came slowly to a dear and loving member of our family. That realization was crushing and deeply painful as the speed of the deterioration accelerated. We were digging, scratching and clawing for alternatives for an admission to a care facility. We were not successful. We needed help. The best way to honor our family member and to show him the love and respect we had for him was for us to secure excellence in the person who could help us find an acceptable care home for our family member. I learned about Care Patrol after I was more than halfway through finding a place for my Dad. Patrick was professional, helpful and offered to go with me to a couple places I had left to go visit. He even encouraged me to check out a place I thought I would eliminate and I was glad I went. He gave me great info about moving resources as well as great questions to ask. I felt like I had a real friend to accompany me and wish I had learned about him sooner. He was objective, honest and had in my opinion a high degree of integrity. These are important qualities to me when looking for help.
