It all sounds good but in reality…..
I really really wanted to love working for CareLinx because I have worked for a lot of agencies and they take a lot of your money and CareLinx makes it so that you get to take home every bit of the money that you earned. Unfortunately, the app is horrible. It’s not easy to navigate and the job search feature doesn’t produce any results. There’s never anything up there but old postings and the few that are available are always 2 hours a week, maybe you will see one that’s offering 4 hour shifts twice a week. I still applied to EVERY SINGLE JOB POSTING that was listed thinking that I would just have to work for several clients to get enough hours a week. But nope, I was sadly mistaken. What’s worse is that I’ve received a few calls from recruitment about a potential job and I’ll go through the whole process of answering the questions, Having a phone interview, going over the Care plan, etc. each time they say OK great will send you an email or give you a call back for the next steps, never get a call back about those clients but will get a whole different recruiter, calling about a whole different client and going through asking me the same exact questions and going through the whole same exact process that I’ve went through before over and again it’s super frustrating. I haven’t worked in 3 weeks!

Hello Cassaundra, we appreciate your honest feedback in this review. While it is true that there are many families on our platform who pace their shifts out in 2 hour minimums based on the insurance benefits they qualify for which pay for this service, there are some who prefer to have bi-weekly care resulting in 4 hour minimum shifts per visit, while others prefer to slate their time out in shifts as long as 8 hours at a time. Please note that our platform has job listings posted in your area with proposed schedules that you can apply to if interested, some may include families who choose to pay for 20+ hours per month of care out of pocket on top of their insurance benefit. There is also a shift request posting that you can apply to which lists open shifts in real time as they populate within your area. One of the many perks of partnering with us to provide care to families on our platform is the flexibility and autonomy in choosing the families you'd like to work with and building out a schedule that fits your goals. We understand that you've encountered hurdles locating and moving through the hiring process for current jobs in your area. We'd love to partner with you on this and help clarify best practices and next steps. Please feel free to contact our Caregiver Support Team at: 855-231-4728. In the meantime, we'd like to encourage you to continue applying for jobs in your area that fit your preferences since a family could easily opt to move past the interview portion of the hiring process and straight to the hire and first shift. Every circumstance and family preference is different and the outcome of your efforts can vary based on these variables.
