This credit card company charged me $562 in late payment fees even though I never missed my monthly payments. I've been paying religiously to pay off my debt before the 18-month 0% interest promo is up but for my last payment on the day it was supposed to expire, I was told that they are not posting it until April 26th. No reason, according to the agent I spoke to and assured me that it is not something I did, but then they went and charged more than $800 in interest from my original loan. Unfair late fees, interest charges, rude customer service agents and questionnable business practices. Never trust this company.

I am being charged 5k in INTEREST. It is mind blowing how it is okay to trick you into signing a contract with "deferred interest". Awful customer service and very unhelpful. I will NEVER recommend anyone get this card. I have six other credit cards and have never dealt with anything like this.

I wouldn't recommend anyone use this ever again. If I do not make payments on time even if life happens financially they will still charge you interest regardless of the interest-free promotions. I even paid off my late fee including the interest changes and I was told that it would not charge the interest once I paid it off which I did. I have one more semester in graduate school to graduate. This is my 4th year since starting in BA and MA which was difficult financially. I have always been good at paying on time and even paying it off before the promotional expired since I had this care credit for over 10 years.

As many here, I used this to pay for surgery, borrowed $2700 and paid $200 every month, so at one year I had paid off $2400-- $300 remaining balance. Synchrony bank: "Too bad you missed paying in full by one year. You now owe $1003 in interest," That is 37% on the initial amount. That is ridiculously high, and seems like you should not pay interest on the full amount for a year when actually it was mostly paid down. A deceptive rip off-- they suggest so long as you pay more than their required minimum payment, you will be OK. They do not give you a heads up that there is a looming 37% penalty. When I looked at the statement after this happened there is a statement that the promotion is nearly over see below, then below it says the promotion is nearly over, see above. Between those two alerts, there is no more information. Deceptive scam ursurers. I have cancelled my synchrony credit card with Amazon.

Headache makers! You are never never finished your payments with this credit card!!!! Yes it’s UnSCRUPULOUS CROOKS !!!! BEWARE!!! Extremely Dissatisfied with CareCredit Service I am utterly disappointed with my recent experience with CareCredit. Firstly, your system inexplicably failed to process my payment automatically, resulting in my payment more than tripling unexpectedly. This error caused significant inconvenience and financial strain on my end. Moreover, when I attempted to resolve this issue by contacting your representatives, the service was abysmal. Instead of offering assistance and rectifying the situation, I was met with blatant disregard. Shockingly, one of your representatives even had the audacity to hang up on me during my attempts to seek resolution. This level of incompetence and disrespect is completely unacceptable from a company that claims to prioritize customer care.

I am a 74 year old elderly man. I needed eye surgery and did not have the funds in my bank account to pay for the operations. The Eye surgery center recommended Care Medical Credit to cover the cost of my Eye surgery and I was to pay Care Credit back with monthly payments until my bill was paid. I was told there would be no interest if if the bill was paid with in one year. My surgery cost $6,000 plus. Care Credit set the monthly dollar payment and I put the payments on auto-pay. I have been paying now for about one year and half. I still owe Care Credit over $6,000!!! They PURPOSELY set the Monthly Dollar Payment amount so that My Bill would Not Be Paid With In the one ALLOWED Year!!! I now OWE OVER $6,000 In INTEREST CHARGES. UnSCRUPULOUS CROOKS !!!! I TRUSTED CARE CREDIT!!! BEWARE!!!

They advertise as interest-free during promotional period, but it’s not really interest free, because they hit you with a huge fee if the balance is not paid off. If the promotional period was truly interest free, the interest will start the day after the promotional period ends.
