They did me a solid once on some interest reversals, that's why not 1 star. But I see why they are horrible. I received the "incompetent and / or mean customer service ""help""" today. Don't use this company, after paying for years and finally paying off a balance and their ridiculous interest charges they lowered my available credit because I took out a $10,000 loan somewhere else.

Their website is awful. You cannot access charges on the card for any decent period of time, like the previous year for tax purposes and you can’t access rewards points records. The points expire after two years but there is no way to see when the points were acquired

I have used care credit for 8 years only using for vet bills. I always use their convient pay by phone. For some reason wasn't taking my payment but the I remembered I changed my phone number . I called care credit costumer service to make payment and to change phone number. They text me a code to my phone which i received and repeated to the man. He then stated in order for me to change my number. They would send me a link and I would have to take a picture of myself holding in his words a state I.D. I closed my account.

I have 3 accounts with Synchrony. All have zero balances and they arbitrarily closed one of the accounts without notification. They said it was due to high balances and credit score. They are all at a zero balance and my credit score is well above 700. Will not ever do business with them again.

I called because I had a promotional purchase plan and I payed a vet bill which I tried to pay on-line but the system took my payment and paid the promotional plan in full. The customer service representative, was an ill man that said his piece and I said okay now fix the problem, he wanted to repeat and lecture me over and over again with the same thing he already said. He kept on telljng me go learn manners, as if I was calling to put up with his moods. He was a bit confused about the purpose of his job, so instead of being nice and saying I'll get this sorted for you, he was arguing with me because I refused to listen the same thing over and over again so I told him who was paying his wages and requested assistance in Spanish, then that lady was amazing, fixed the problem right away without being rude.

Care credit should be there to help people out!! This is for medical only, Things we can not go without . I've made my monthly payments more then minimum for 8 months now and they find every way to nickle and dime you. I owe 407$ my minimum payment is $30 and the interest is 38$ a month. I just don't understand! Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. To make it 10x worse there customer service is pathetic!

Care credit has it’s place, but it should really be a last-ditch-effort to avoid interest. Because the truth is - they still charge you interest. When you sign up for an account, you’re automatically enrolled in “card security” which is something like 10% of your balance per month, and that is eligible for interest. So on my $600 balance, I was still paying $15 monthly, extra. When I lost my job, I was grateful I had the card security - the paperwork basically said that if something like that happens - they’ll cancel your balance!! But if you read the fine print… they’ll actually just pay your minimum payments for 3 months, and if you’re STILL out of a job after a YEAR they MIGHT cancel your balance. Also, if you don’t pay the full balance by the end of the terms, ALL the interest you would’ve accrued is charged. The problem i have is that they advertise like they’re here to help people. They’re not - they still want to profit off of you. Go another route if you can.

Deceptive and Predatory practices. They say no credit check to apply, this is untrue. 2 different people informed me verbally there would be no credit check, yet once the application was done I got a notice that my credit was hit with a hard check. I would not have applied if there was to be a hard check. Additionally, they sent a bill the same month for the 1st payment, not even give you the first month before asking to start paying. Predatory practices. Only reason for 2 stars is the 24 month no interest.
