I thought I was a valued customer never having a late or missed payment to them.....fast forward to today when I took my very sick little cat to the vet having seizures..I had very little money...but I had my care crefit card.....THAT IS UNTIL THEY TOOK ALL THE MONEY FROM MY CARD UNBEKNOWNST TO ME AND SHE DIED IN THAT VETS OFFICE UNABLE TO GET THE CARE SHE NEEDED!!! Am I pissed ?? You bet I am!!!!

I've had this card for seven years, and they just randomly closed it because I had an auto payment decline. However, I then made a $400 payment to replace it. They also make it so once your account is closed, you can't log into it to pay off any remaining balance. So I guess I just have to wait for it to go into collections? What a joke; there's nothing caring about this credit.

After making on-time payments for months and paying off my account, they decided to close my account on May 17th 2024 without notifying me. Credit score dipped suddenly when I was expecting it to increase from paying off my card. The CSA told me it was due to a credit score they pulled all the way from February. BS. I can guarantee you that this is business practice to purge accounts because their stocks are taking a downturn. Never opening an account with this predatory company again.

The Medical Service provider I used gave me a promotional 1 year 0 percent interest rate. Unbeknownst to me, Care Credit changed the charge to a regular credit card charge. This caused me large interest charges. I asked why I wasn't informed and Care Credit responded it was a coding error they weren't aware of. I will never use this card again. Care Credit has a history of deceptive practices.

Bad customer service rude callers can't fix their own problems

Care Credit is a nightmare to your credit rating. They will lower your credit limit causing your account to be over the limit. It is utterly ridiculous to do that to someone who has been consistently paying on time for the past two years.

I would give a zero if I could. I've had this card for over 15 years. I've always used it for unexpected medical expenses, or ones I just couldn't afford outright.When I first opened it this card it was GE not synchrony that's how long I've had it. My card didn't expire until 2028, but they canceled my account without any warning or without notifying me at all. Because they said it had been a very long time since I'd used it (2 years! Oh the humanity 2 years!) I found out it was canceled when I had a visit to the emergency Vet clinic. When I called, the guy on the phone just kept repeating it's in our terms to cancel if the card isn't used. Who carries the terms of their credit card around!? Plus it wasn't synchrony when I signed up for it. He didn't even know the history of the credit card because he insisted it was always a "store" card when I said it used to only be for medical use, which is why I didn't use it often. Anyone who has had a care credit card long enough knows it was strictly a medical use only card until recent years. I think it went downhill when it became a Mastercard, it completely strayed from its intended purpose.If that's their terms fine, but they should give you a notice before canceling your account. I got no notice they were going to and no notice that that had. I do not recommend this company, because when you really need them they will NOT be there for you. I've spent about $30,000 on this card over the years combined. They missed out on an additional $2,100 from emergency vet costs. It was an extremely stressful situation thinking you're pet was going to die, and then trying to pay your bill at midnight only to have your card declined. Thankfully I had my Discover card,which will be my go to from now on, at least I get points from them not excuses.

I had a care credit card,paid my account on time or before time.Today I found out they closed my account because my credit score went down,I am so mad that I want you all to know what they can do to you,I thought when you paid your bill on time or before it’s due you are doing a good job but that’s not how it works.
