I thought this was a reputable company however, i was charged interest SEVERAL times although i was promised to not be charged for 1 year. I WAS THEN CHARGED $1,095 IN INTEREST BEFORE MY PROMOTION WAS EXPIRED !!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A CARD FROM THIS PLACE!!

They don't even deserve one star. They take advantage of people who are in tough situations and charge insane interest rates. Don't believe the promotional period. It's too good to be true. You'll be paying for years.

Care credit has it’s place, but it should really be a last-ditch-effort to avoid interest. Because the truth is - they still charge you interest. When you sign up for an account, you’re automatically enrolled in “card security” which is something like 10% of your balance per month, and that is eligible for interest. So on my $600 balance, I was still paying $15 monthly, extra. When I lost my job, I was grateful I had the card security - the paperwork basically said that if something like that happens - they’ll cancel your balance!! But if you read the fine print… they’ll actually just pay your minimum payments for 3 months, and if you’re STILL out of a job after a YEAR they MIGHT cancel your balance. Also, if you don’t pay the full balance by the end of the terms, ALL the interest you would’ve accrued is charged. The problem i have is that they advertise like they’re here to help people. They’re not - they still want to profit off of you. Go another route if you can.

Had a CareCredit Mastercard through Synchrony Bank. I've had the account for over 11-12 years with excellent history. I allowed both of my kids to be cardholders on my account. Earlier this year, one of my kids had a legal name change. I had to fax all legal information to CareCredit regarding the name change of the cardholder. It took multiple phone calls over 4 months to get a new card with the correct name. BUT then they also changed my name as the account owner to my son's name! They have my SSN linked with his name and then would not talk to me as I am no longer the account owner. This was a HUGE clerical error on their part, and they claim they cannot fix it. I had to get my son on the phone to close the account. Complete incompetence! Never again.

I used care credit for 3 interest free payments for dental work. The first was 12 months, the other 2 were 6 months. The monthly payment was enough to cover , however CC decided to payoff the 2 6 months payments first (as per their small print) and then the larger payment which resulted in a $550 interest charge over 10 months or so. Calling there CS dept provided no help, I truly am disgusted an encourage everyone to use another provider or follow their monthly statements closely.

They are crooked if you don’t pay them for the use of their card the amount that you owed in six months, they lower your credit amount that they approved youto below what you owe and then report your over your credit limit, but they don’t tell you they’re doing it. I will never deal with them again. I chopped their card up, and then I burned it Worst place ever. That company needs to be put out of business.

The worst card to deal with! They lack transparency and hide information from your statemtents. Save yourself the money, trouble, and aggravation by avoiding them at all costs. Incompetent and dishonest.

Very poor customer service. Issues you call about are never resolved. I disputed the same charge 4 times because they would not complete the investigation properly. The representatives are incompetents and difficult to understand. They deliberately disconnect the calls because they don't want to help or hope will go away. Sychrony Bank are absolutely terrible business. Stay away as you will not receive good customer service and not worth the headaches when needing assistance.
