Horrible. Don't use them unless you're fine with never seeing your money when you file a claim. Got into a car accident abroad. eClaims asked for a bunch of documents. When I provided those, they asked for more. Provided those and they now asked for more. Feels like a tactic to keep postponing payout. Talked to manager who promised to review that and get back with me within 10 business days. After 2 months she's avoiding my calls. This has been going on for TWO YEARS. I will NEVER work with them again.

Very pleased with the outcome of my claim. With all the proper documentation it was promptly paid

Rented a car back in early June of 2020 (Florida), and got into an accident with damages totaling $9700.00. I didn't purchase insurance, but used my Navy Federal cc for the transaction. I opened the claim a few weeks after, and shared the claim number with an Alamo damage representative. They worked with the Visa claims department directly, and I had to upload a notarized letter confirming I had no other insurance at the time of the accident. That was about 2-3 weeks ago. Today, just got a notification that the claim was paid, and that they also have my $500.00 deductible ready for deposit (paid to the rental car company upon returning the replacement car). Hopefully this gives some assurance to someone dealing with this type of headache. I must say I wasn't especially sold on how this would all pan out, but I'm elated at the outcome.

My Wells Fargo Platinum Visa advertises cellular insurance as a benefit. However, benefits are administrated by this company. The process is onerous, slow, and seemingly impossible to provide the ridiculous amount of documentation required, some redundant. Not to mention the expectation of taking the phone in person for a "diagnostic report" during a pandemic. I'd be very interested to see the rate of claims paid/claims filed and the time to pay claims. Terrible company.

Either I am another lucky one or eclaims have got their act together. I normally do not write reviews but after all the negatives I thought I should share my experience. My whole claim went incredibly smoothly. I had no issues and my claim was approved within 36 hours of me loading up my final document. I was paid 24 hours later by ACH. We had a united vacations scheduled for July but my kid was admitted to hospital with appendicitis. Needless to say we could not travel. United were prepared to refund me my vacation cost except the 1200 non refundable deposit. I made a claim on my chase card and while it took a little while getting all the documents together and scanning them the whole process went flawlessly. I did not have a need to contact anyone directly everything was done via email and their website. I will say I had all the required docs. Old bank statements, Vacation itinerary, Doctor letters using their form, United policies etc. Things I would advise to make a claim go smoothly: 1. Make sure you have a legitimate claim. Any ambiguity and I am sure they will question your claim which is understandable. 2. Read and understand the policies 3. Make sure you have all the required documents with the exact information they are looking for. 4. Submit your claim but do not load docs immediately. You will be given a claim number. 5 once submitted go back into the website to existing claim by using your claim number. 6 see which documents you need and load one at a time. After each upload go back in via existing claim and make sure the document loaded. One issue I had is that you do not always get a confirmation on the upload or it hangs but if you go back in each time you will see the doc uploaded. After loading all the docs if you have not heard from them in 48 hours I would contact them. Overall a surprisingly good process/experience

It took 2 months to get paid but they could have been delayed due to Covid 19 situation..plus: great accessibility-24/7; CSRs very polite and informative; easy to file and submit docs online; I was actually able to speak with the claims examiner. negative: had been asked for the same info several times; delays in processing documentation.

After reading all the bad reviews I was prepared for the worse. But...I was not going to be deterred so I carefully prepared the claim documents and the responses were polite, timely, appropriate and the claim approved. The delays were all mine, or rather my doc not responding completely and timely. Two things: 1. The online claim process did not work but I then decided to have hard copies and send in the claim via certified mail. 2. The claim forms are cumbersome and could be made more user friendly. Where there is smoke there is fire and I am sure the bad reviews are deserved. But, that was not my experience.

I want to give it a zero star, but looks like that's not an option. It is so frustrating that I am at the verge of crying. I have been struggling with the claim from last 3 months and have no hopes whether I will get the reimbursement at all. I don't think the assigned agents look at the documents with open eyes. The repeatedly ask me for the same information and their email response appears like a system generated (which is actually not true) email with generic points. So you call customer care again to understand what actually is needed.
