I have never and I repeat never dealt with a worse entity than this. Chase Visa should sever all ties with them immediately as they bring disrepute onto Chase. They won't answer email, their fax line is nonfunctional and you will be on hold from 45 min to 1.5 hours anytime you call. Then, and this is as infuriating as hell, they will cut your call off soon after they answer. They aren't going to call back so you must again go through an hour on hold for the same result. You will be asked to provide the same documents, and I am not kidding, over 6 times. Their sole goal and I suspect it works is to infuriate you so much you give up and pay the claim yourself. I literally hate these people.

Horrible insurance company that does not pay, answer phones or provide any instructions. Despite fulfilling all their document request I get a generic letter saying common carrier statement of delay letter is incomplete, although it is exactly like the sample letter on their website. Can't speak to a human without holding for 2 hours. I will be cancelling my chase sapphire reserve and going with Amex. To hell with chase and eclaims line.

5 months later still trying to get my rental car collision reiembursment. they just run you around in circles. complete waste of time. Chase you are screwing over your cliets

I wish I could give this company zero stars. This is the WORST service I have ever experienced. My luggage was lost in Europe in March. 7 months later my claim has not been finalized and nobody can tell me when to expect a final report. I’m trying to be empathetic to staff shortages and the fact that there are a high volume of claim numbers because of recent events. I understand this. But the process of trying to get information is like pulling teeth and the only number to call goes straight to customer service, a department that unfortunately has little to no information. You are unable to talk to claim examiners or supervisors. You will talk to a different representative each time you call. You will wait on hold for 30 mins to an hour before you actually speak with someone. You will not be given specific dates or timelines on when to expect updates by - if someone gives this to you, rest assured it will be longer. YOU WILL WANT TO GIVE UP ON YOUR CLAIM MONEY BECAUSE OF THE INCOMPETENCY OF THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. Unfortunately my claim is valued at over $3,000 and I cannot afford to stop chasing them for updates. If you have an opportunity to file a claim through the airline instead of Eclaims line, do it. I regret this decision. If you were considering a credit card (Chase) that uses this insurance company as a card perk, don’t. My next call is to Chase to find out when my renewal is up for my Sapphire card so I can cancel it - all due to this experience. I am now getting an Attorney involved because I no longer feel confident after my communication with them and after reading everyone else’s reviews that I am personally equipped to get my claim money. I suggest filing a complaint to the Virginia State corporation commission online or by calling 877-310-6560. Another review mentioned this and I will be filing here as well. If a pattern is noticed something will finally be done about this ridiculous circus of an organization.

The multitude of negative customer reviews posted here are absolutely warranted. This company drags claims process out for months, while never responding to submissions of the “Contact Us” form on their website or emails. They conveniently post no customer service phone number on the website either, making it virtually impossible to get an updated status for the claim. I have been waiting for 2 1/2 months for a response of any type. I assume they get their commission by making the process so laborious that people finally just give up. This is the worst customer service imaginable.

Bye bye Sapphire Reserve! A worthless benefit by a completely awful insurer. Multiple requests for the same info for a $250 claim. 60 days after claim and still pending. No point in calling..hold music hell! WAKE UP CHASE! Cancelling at next renewal in Dec.

i understand insurance companies are in the business of trying not to pay, quite differently than in their ads. Still these guys really take the cake, they take SEVERAL weeks to get back to me and every time requesting either documents i had already sent AND/OR documents they know full well are unobtainable, such as a letter from an airliner specifically addressed to me explaining the reason for the cancellation.

The worst company. They are impossible to speak to, ignore your documents and do anything they can to make you give up I would strongly advise to cancel any credit card that uses them. I have an expensive chase card, but chase has completely outsourced claims.
