Sketchy "payment verification"
I'm an avid online shopper for outdoor gear. Camp saver is the only place I was able to find a Patagonia jacket in a discontinued color, however I was disappointed when I was sent a "payment verification" email a couple days later. This email read almost like a virus, requesting that I respond in ten days or else my order would be canceled. I was given two different, difficult options involving calling my bank and providing campsaver with personal account information. I have never seen anything like this and am wary of following through with my order. Shouldn't my credit card information be enough?

Hi Natalie I apologize for the hassle. We are reviewing our verification policy and going to make changes to improve our process. The issue was the mismatch in shipping and billing address that caused the flag, but that shouldn't mean you have to go through a negative process and experience. Thank you for being a customer and we will not let this happen again.
