Rundown and dirty.
To start the disaster off we could not check in at the time we were promised (one hour late). When we arrived to the cabin we could not get into the very steep driveway without bottoming our car out. We were met at the porch by a giant spider web covering the entrance. Upon entering the cabin we were met with dirt, dust and large dead bugs on the floor in several places. The back porch was filthy and with only one broken rocking chair. Don't believe the photos on their web site!

Awfull and would not recommend
Awfull and would not recommend.
Late checkin. Was supposed to be at 4pm and after we called repeatedly we finally got the address around 5pm. To a dirty cabin. Cigarette buts on the outside porch and bottle caps also. Stains on the basement carpet. The cabin is a fixer upper with trim broken throughout. We called the manement out to report a dirty cabin with a broken chair on the front porch. Didn’t get much of a response. They did have someone come out and remove the broken chair. 10:30pm someone else came out to remove the chair. Didn’t announce himself and creeped out the family. Said he would empty trash cans but never did.
When they did remove the trash it looks like they also took away a cargo carrier we had. After questioning the management team we got a “do whatever you need to do” response.
I would question the integrity of this company and would highly recommend avoiding any dealings with them.

This was our third stay with Gatlinburg…
This was our third stay with Gatlinburg Falls. We stayed in Pointe of View in Hidden Valley. The cabin was very nice and clean. We were pleased with our stay.

The cabin was in a great location
The cabin was in a great location. We stayed at the Gatlinburg fall Resort. 5 mins to downtown Gatlinburg. I've stayed at several different cabins of theirs and I have to say they do a great job on keeping the cabins maintained. Clean, everything works and nicely decorated.

Our cabin had a few minor glitches
Our cabin had a few minor glitches, but the company went above and beyond to make it right. A company that provides excellent customer is hard to find these days.I will use them again and refer to friends.

Poorly managed, poorly maintained
"Laurel Mountain" cabin.
Advertised as "sleeps 8" was told at check-in it is in fact a 6 person cabin... Got by with the couch.
Not ready at check in time. Waited until 4:45 PM.
Here's how we found it:
Trash all around the cabin, especially the porch. Lots of cigarette butts. Two ash trays- full. Shower was moldy (see pic) . Cabin was unswept (see pic of bugs at top of stairs) . Grill filthy (see pic) . Porch light full of bugs (see pic) . Garbage bags left from previous stay (perhaps to attract wildlife for our viewing)... And the ceiling fans... See pic, that's not frosting from the cold! Filthy!
1.5 rolls of TP, told we were responsible for TP after calling (but they begrudgingly agreed to bring some).
Beds have thin comforters, no extra blankets.
But the best part was our Saturday morning entertainment, a domestic dispute that the neighbors had, an obsenity laced screaming match filled with racist slurs... Classy!
We also didn't like that you aren't given the location until after booking. We were separated from our other cabin of friends by a substantial drive through windy roads... That put a damper on our stay.
Woke up Saturday morning and took a closer look at the bed to find the sheet dirty/moldy! Took it off and found dirt on the mattress protector.
Luckily we had asked for extra linens... But the backup had hair on it and a child's sock fell out of it... Dirty w/more hair on it! I wish I was making this stuff up!
Oh, and the toilet doesn't flush even the smallest piece of TP unless you hold the handle down, so give it a good 5 count!
We were told we would receive a refund which later changed to only 30% and was also informed that if we had checked out the first night we would have received a full refund even though we were told at check-in there were absolutely no refunds.
This place is ridiculous!

Worst stay ever
My family and I stayed at this resort October 11-15th, and the only positive that came from the weekend was who we were with. Starting with the customer service, I have worked in the customer service industry for awhile and if I or one of my colleagues ever talked to someone like we were spoken to and how we were treated, we would be fired on the spot. It took several attempts at phone calls to even get things in order for the cabin. When calling to speak with someone at the cabin when we had issues with ours, they were extremely rude and acted like they simply did not care that we were having issues with our cabin and did not want to help us. We were informed that we could check in at 4pm, however we did not actually get to check in until 7pm, that’s 3 hours later and we had members of our party driving almost 13 hours to get here. The excuse we were given as to why we were unable to check in was due to the cabin not being clean yet, yet when we got there they were still cleaning and we had to go behind them and clean the cabin ourselves. The bath tubs had mold growing in the jets as well as the filter in the jetted tubs, the upstairs stand alone shower would not drain due to the lumps of hair being stuck in it, and the sinks all had left over tooth paste in them.
The hot tub was not clean, there was just new chlorine tabs added to the filter, which made it completely unhealthy for us to use. There were fragments of stuff floating in the water, so much so that we were fishing things out before we could use it. Proper hot tub cleaning use for this type of place mandates that a hot tub be clean after each new group checks in to the cabin due to germs and making sure no mold or anything dangerous is growing in this area. This can cause infections if any of us were to have an open wound, causing you to be liable for the medical bills. Not to mention the extension cords that were just plugged in near the hot tub. The stove was improperly kept, the large left coil was completely broken upon our arrival and the port where it was to plug in was unsecure and unsafe. The “fix” was bringing a new coil and plugging it in to the old port which was still broken, which is a big fire and electrical hazard. The top of the dishwasher would not wash any of the dishes, we tried several times to see if it were just clogged with water, however that was not the case and the racks were extremely rusted. The faucet in the sink, would not stay secure and would also leak when trying to use and after use each time.
For the amount of guests that were staying at the cabin, there were not enough towels. We did inform someone at the check in desk of this at least three times, before they decided to show up close to 10pm, we had been calling since 8am the first day we were there. Upon arrival to the cabin we did notice that the cushions on the main couch were not kept up and were falling apart when you would try and sit on it. When we arrived, there was left over trash from previous guests, that did attract wild life to our cabin. We had absolutely NO paper products for the cabin, so we had to go out and purchase it ourselves. The entire time we were there we had absolutely no internet, we called several times for someone to come and fix it, for them just to say “yea your internet is out there is nothing we can do.” We had several college students staying at the cabin who needed to turn in homework and all during this weekend.
Another issue we had with is the rooms lights not working. We tried everything we could to get lights working throughout the entire cabin to only have a few that worked. I believe if the cleaning crew actually did their job, they would have noticed immediately that there were lights out that needed to be replaced. The sheets smelled like cigarette smoke, as well as finding cigarette burns in the comforters, a few of our group have health issues so that did not come from us. The blankets with cigarette burns did have a white sticky substance around it which has ruined one of our guests suit cases. When taking the trash out from what we used, we did notice ash and cigarette buds in the trash can itself, which looks like it had been there for awhile. The fireplace was not working the entire time we were there, and we did not call to complain due to the fact no one would come and fix any of the other issues we had.
Every mattress in the cabin had springs that were completely shot, making it extremely uncomfortable for all of our guests. The stand alone shower had flooring so lose we thought we may fall through onto the down stairs bathroom.
I honestly feel like we have been taken advantage of, and the only way we would get any part of a refund is if we bump up the star rating on google, which is not the “Christian” thing to do, which you pride yourself on, on your website.
