Let me start by saying, I am a long time customer. Have never had issues with any product. But the customer service is lacking. I placed an order and upon receiving this order, was sent incorrect items. I emailed with a photo showing what was actually sent and never got a response, so I then called. I was told that the policy is in order for me to get the item that I actually ordered, I would need to drop off the incorrectly shipped items to UPS. And once they received the item in their hands, they then would send me the actual item I ordered. I PAID for this item. I should get this item. So this “policy”, in my opinion is bonkers. Once that box was scanned, you should have made it right. This was in no part the customers (my) fault. Now, the item has been delivered back to your company and I still have no response or tracking information for the items I purchased almost 2 weeks ago.

I purchased this to sample Bulk Apothecary’s Peppermint Castile soap as a potential alternative to Dr. Bronner’s. Visually, it’s a great match, and the initial peppermint aroma when you first pour it is wonderful and revitalizing. However, the performance didn't quite live up to the look. The consistency is very thin and watery, which means it doesn't sud up as well as I’d hoped. I found myself using much more product than expected just to get a decent lather. Because it is so thin, I suspect it might actually work better in a foaming soap dispenser rather than a standard one. The biggest letdown for me was the 'minty' experience—or lack thereof. While it smells great in the bottle, the aroma doesn't last on the skin at all once you rinse off. Most importantly, it lacks that signature 'cooling tingle' or minty feeling on the body that you usually expect from a peppermint castile soap. It’s a decent, gentle cleanser, but it definitely needs more 'oomph' in the concentration and sensation departments. On the other hand delivery was pretty quick and the bottle itself was perfect even sealed very well!
