In March 1997 Broadmoor RV was born. It started out with very humble beginnings next door to the Broadmoor Factory Outlet Mall. The Parts and Service Departments were run out of shipping containers and the sales office was run out of a rented space inside the mall. A few short weeks after Broadmoor RV's creation, disaster struck. Those native to the Tri-Cities know the destruction our windstorms can bring. The Easter Morning Storm of 1997 was one of those storms: destroying several tent trailers off the lot of a dealership just starting out. In its infancy Broadmoor RV was able to make 7 sales in its first month of business. That same year in August the dealership found its new and permanent home on two and one half acres across the street from where it all started. Two and one half acres grew over the years to 22+ acres; over nine times the size. The service department has become recognized nationally as one of the best available with over 50% of technicians being master certified. From 7 units sold a month it now sells close to 1600 annually. The lastest addition of 12 more service bays, a paint booth, collision center and expanded parts department encouraged the addition of SuperStore to the name. Broadmoor RV SuperStore has Super People, Super Service and Super Prices all in one place. Come in and let them prove it!Broadmoor RV is conveniently located near the areas of Richland, West Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and Walla Walla.

A very good experience overall. Sales staff, finance guy and service personnel were all patient and great to deal with. The trailer was prepped well before we took ownership, and we were given a detailed walk through.

Downhill after exchanges with Guy (salesperson)
Guy was a great salesperson who helped me get all of the information I needed (I was buying from out of state, and we completed all of our exchanges over the phone, text, and email). 5 stars for Guy. He assured me that I would have at least a 2 hour walk through that I could video so I could refer back to it later, something I would have really found useful, but the person who did my walk through did not allow me to video, and it was not 2 hours. There were skipped parts, and I did my best to make sure he went over everything. Because this was my first RV, I wasn't 100% up on everything that needed to be gone over or explained, and felt rushed a lot. 3 stars for the walk through person. My experience in finance with John was a 0 star rating. I was wiring money from Morgan Stanley which was completed by my financial team in New York quickly. I had a fed reference number which is proof of receipt of the funds by Banner Bank (Broadmoor's bank), not just proof the funds left my account. I had my Morgan Stanley team on the phone trying to get John to call Banner Bank with the fed reference number. John said that he wouldn't do that for me, period. He went to talk with a gal that keeps in touch with their bank and I asked if I could speak with her so we could get their bank the fed reference number and proof that the funds were received by their bank. He said no, and walked out. Neither me nor the 2 individuals on the phone from Morgan Stanley could believe the lack of try or care for a customer who had all the proof that the money has been sent and received. They were not interested in trying, or giving the fed reference number to their bank at all. He was trying to rush through my Finance process so he could get to the next customers (he even said that he needs to help other people that are waiting when I hadn't even been in his office for 5 minutes). John was sure that the funds would not go through that day and I'd have to wait to pick up the trailer the next day because he'd never seen funds show up half way through three day, but lo and behold the funds magically appeared after they tried giving their bank the fed reference number for the wire. I would not do business with them again, just because that experience. I would have thought that of someone just wired $38k to buy a trailer cash, and had proof of the wire going through, that the company would put in at least a bit more try to make me feel cared about. Like, I just paid for this trailer cash, and drove from 2 states away, why do I feel like I'm the one bothering you?
Additionally, their parts store is way overpriced. I only received a power cord for the trailer and $25 towards all the other stuff needed to hook up for the night and my trip home. I bought the bare minimum because of the huge markups. Still not impressed with the dealership. I like the trailer (though one minor fix was not completed before I left... some wood missing from the corner of the fridge).

Rude sales staff....Amazing service dept!
The salesman was uneducated on the unit and didn't take the time to verify information and specifications. Information provided to us was inaccurate or not included with the model at all, which was only discovered after driving 5 hours to pick it up. When the sales manager came out to try to "smooth things over" he was rude, talked over us, and even said he didn't care if we bought the unit or not. The sales department had no accountability regarding providing the inaccurate information and did little to correct the situation even after we caught them in two different lies while attempting to "make it right."
The service staff on the other hand was amazing to work with. Once we came to an agreement with sales, there was an item that had to be installed in the unit. Service immediately started working on it while we took the kiddo somewhere to play. When we returned, they took the time to explain to us an issue they ran into during install and even delivered the unit to us when they could make sure there were no issues and everything was working properly.
This rating is only as good as it is because of the service staff. I will not purchase from Broadmoor again because of the rude sales staff andsales manager.

Hi KM, Could you please let us know which salesman/sales manager you dealt with so we can correct this behavior in the future? Is there a name or contact info where you can be reached?

Friendly People, Sales Driven, Chaotic
I've purchased two brand-new toyhaulers from Broadmoor over the past 12 months, plus sent a couple of my friends there to buy their RVs. The sales process is pleasant, not high-pressure, and they sell a lot of RVs.
As often happens with RVs, when you start using it there are often things that the manufacturer didn't catch before it leaves the factory. That warranty work is something that Broadmoor handles.
With both of my toy haulers, there was some warranty work to do, so I had ample opportunity to interact with the service department. I can definitely say from looking at the call log on my phone, that I spent more back-and-forth time on the phone with Broadmoor trying to get someone to let me know status (is it done, did they find the problem, did the parts finally arrive, should I pick it up, etc.) than I have with any vendor I've ever worked with.
Also, I was owed a several hundred dollar refund from an equipment change they had to make, and I still have not received it after more than six weeks and more phone calls and even a personal visit. Everyone is very pleasant, but you can see that people are stressed and they don't seem to have the tools or processes to know what the heck is going on in their business. Just very chaotic.
Would I buy another RV from Broadmoor? I might, but I will also check out a couple other large dealers in town. Service has been more important to me than the initial purchase. All RVs need service, so it's worth going with the dealer that can best deliver good service.
