No hidden fees

This was an easy way to save a lot of money. It was said to be a 90 minute orientation to a time share property, but we went into it knowing it wouldn't be that short. It took only 3 hours and feel it was well worth it. At the resort we booked, we were worried we might be treated differently than those paying full price. Absolutely not, 100% satisfied with the resort, they acted as if they had no idea we paid a fraction of the retail price. Well have already recommended to friends and family.

NO WAY! BEWARE!!! Bookvip.com Website offered a special promotional rate for several nights at a waterpark. We paid for it up front in full because they offered an extra night free and $100 Amazon gift card on top of the 3 nights stay for only $139. Of course when I call to set up the dates for the summer, most dates are filled and then they told me that the small print says we must attend a 90 minute time share presentation. Go figure! Always small print! After an hour on the phone and mostly on hold, I am told that my son since he is 16 will have to attend the time share presentation since he is an "adult" and that Tiffany and I will have to put our 4 year old daughter in their day care. I asked her, "you want me to agree over the phone to put my 4 year old in your day care at your facility when we have never seen your day care facility." She said, "yes sir". I said, "well you can cancel our reservation completely then and I want a full refund." CRAZY! What parent in their right mind would make a legally binding agreement over the phone to put their young child in the care of people they never met and a child care facility we never saw?!?! Sorry BOOK VIP ... no waterpark hotel stay at a "great rate" is worth the safety of our children! Gosh! Your home page of your website first of all should be telling people that these rates are offered because you must attend a time share presentation. And most importantly, I signed up to attend a presentation not my son that you want to consider an adult. He is not providing a credit card. Cant drive, and yet you want to consider him an adult and tell me he MUST attend in order to get this deal. I have this entire conversation recoded and will be contacting local and national news. Not only are you misleading people but you had the audacity to require me to put our 4 year old in YOUR care rather than my sons in order for us to get your "special deal"! Horrible! Your Desired Resolution: Your home page of your website first of all should be telling people that these rates are offered because you must attend a time share presentation. Well sir, if you are just adhering to "the resorts policies" then you should also tell your company BOOK VIP that the presentation is only 90 mins when it clearly states in their policy that it is 120 mins. To train your people to mis-inform people on purpose to make something sound more appealing is false advertisement.

Issue resolved, full refund made and offer for discount on next trip. Thanks for addressing the issue. 1-31-17 Update. BookVIP says they will refund my $620 if i remove this posting. Will advise when refund is received. 1-31-17 Update. BookVIP owner sent me an email indicating the refund was processed. I changed the posting from 1 star to 3 stars, as clearly there has been friction. I do appreciate BooVIP eventually providing the refund and offering to give me a reduced cost for my next trip. I wish companies in the service industry would provide lower levels of customer service agents to perform duties that is intended to meet the customer's needs so these type of disputes do not have to occur. Hopefully BookVIP can update their terms and conditions to allow for the circumstance that I experienced.

At no point during the beginning of my hotel booking process did they disclose they're terms and conditions , they only disclose it at the end of the process and after they charged my credit card. They also Never offered me or gave an option for an insurance that would allow me to cancel my reservation. They gave false information by sending me a link they sent to me making me believe that I would see my reservation detail and then lock in my reservation but instead was agree to reservation details without being able to see the detail. We took a trip to Punta Cana Dominican Republic. It was an amazing vacation and I can't thank Book VIP enough for making this amazing week come true.

I was stunned at the quality of the deal I received. Will definitely do this once a year from now on! I deserve a great vacation at a great value.
