I've had a BAM millionaire's club card for many years. I've signed up for automatic renewal several times, but it seems that their system just doesn't do what they say it will. I took my Granddaughter to the bookstore this afternoon and at check out I find, Again, that my card didn't renew again. Why bother to offer this service again and again over the years if it doesn't do what it promised? Very unhappy with BAM right now. I tried to go online and it kept saying there were errors on the site! I even tried to create a new account and got error message again. WTH, PEOPLE?

I ordered a book to read over the holidays on December 2nd. I recently received an email that it was on its way on JUNE 22nd. I have since moved from that shipping address and won't be receiving the book. Customer service refused a refund because I could not return the book that I did not receive. They said I had to wait 30 days for the books to be returned by the person that is receiving it at my previous address. Most companies would simply send a new book to the proper address. Books-A-Million had the worst return/refund policy and I was blamed for not keeping up with the release date of the book that the publisher had pushed back.

I tried once and looks like a scam... run away from this company

I recently ordered Plague of Corruption through BAM-Books A Million. I was elated! Immediately after I purchased it, I received an email confirming my order, as is typical. What wasn't typical was that, at the time of order, nowhere on any page I read, did it say the book wasn't immediately available. It wasn't until I received the email confirming my order that I was told it was on back order. Upset, I immediately contacted them via chat. The representative typed that my order would ship by 4/27. On 4/28, I emailed the company requesting a response. All I received was the auto response saying they received my request. As of today, they were still "processing a response" to me, so I called them. They informed me the book is still on back order, pending shipment from the publisher. I let them know how I felt about their unethical and unprofessional way of communicating. I cancelled my order and discovered that the book is once again available through Amazon. It is now sitting on my Kindle! I am not happy with Books A Million at all! Their website was misleading and their customer service rep lied to me!
