Most inept bunch. They cannot sell outside the US. Despite this you can sign up to their spam. They spam me everyday but I cannot even purchase anything. Useless and lazy. I sent at least 15 emails over past free days and no one has responded to any of them. The ineptperson assisting me initially said they need the address to ship ebooks.... Now, really. Are you so dense that you do not know the difference between a physical product and a digital one? Why are they spamming Non-US citizens if they are not legally allowed to sell to us? Why must I waste my time setting up an account if I cannot order? Why must I be prepared to spend $400+ but you cannot even sell to me> Utter waste of time. Inept and lazy staff. Dishonest advertising and spam.

Placed an order online for an electronic gift card for a 9 year old. Recipient never received the email with the gift card, even though the address was correct. Notified company via chat, thought I had resolution. Nothing. So far, e gift card has been sent 3 times to an accurate email address. Nothing. Next step, sending it to a different email address. If this proves unsuccessful, they'll have to put it in the regular mail. How is this possible in this day and age? Unacceptable.

I wish I had looked up company reviews before trying to purchase a book through them, but it was a time-sensitive purchase. I ordered a review book and a week later, I received the wrong book. I ordered a nursing certification book, and they sent me a English book. I was annoyed, but just figured I’d return it for a refund. I mailed the book back a couple of days later, and received notification on June 26th that the book had been received by the warehouse and that I’d recieved a refund shortly.... 3-5 days, to quote customer service. It is now July 7th, and upon MY following up with this awful company, they claimed that my book hadn’t been received by the warehouse yet! Terrible, terrible company. I will be calling them today because this entire, futile transaction has gone on for far too long. Do not, under any circumstances, order from this company.

For starters it's always about selling cards, and memberships. When I was employed here, this wasn't my primary source of income and thank God because the pay is terrible. When you don't meet the quota, you don't get fired but you do get mistreatment from the management. There was this old man that was a "supervisor" and my entire duration of working here he constantly kept insulting my appearance and giving me titles I didn't ask for, and harassed me by gossiping behind my back the entire time I was around the guy. Him and the other "manager" and one of the other bullies there. The attitudes they gave me bothered me so badly I had to contact HR and got nowhere. They don't care. They care more about stupid membership cards and lackluster offers for magazines. You can't grow with this company. You can't even pay your bills. It's a miserable crap fest and the staff I worked with were so utterly lazy. Given that the environment was in the mall, I guess that explained the callousness. Each time working, I'd get the pleasures of listening to the "managers" pick on Customers left and right, if not me. That was so utterly pathetic and unprofessional it hurts. Calling customers "fat boy" and "ugly guy" and "she looks like she got ran over with train tracks". Incredibly terrible bullies. Never ever work here, and try not to ever SHOP here. Even some of the other G.Ms and managers hate it.

Terrible customer service, go elsewhere

I like the store, the people are friendly, but it gets annoying that every time I shop there or buy something they ask about magazines. Also the prices can be a bit high. But overall it's a good plave.

I have had multiple horrible experiences with this company. They always seem to scam me in some way, shape, or fashion. First, I joined the memebership program without being told it was going to charge me $25.00. The cashier asked me if I wanted to join and I said yes. Then she tells me my total (I only was purchasing one book) and it was $25 more than I was expecting. Also, they have you set up for auto renewal every year and trying to cancel that is the most complicated thing I've ever had to do. They ignored my emails, and when I called I received an extreme amount of attitude. They also got me with this "free 3 month trial of magazines" no one told me that if you didn't cancel it, it would charge you. I will never shop there again. Honestly, thrift books is the place to go. Cheaper and better customer service.
