I got the one time small bokksu. It's a very good box, but I was missing one component that was supposed to be in the box, which was in this case freeze dried strawberries. Edit: Bokksu was kind enough to point out that it was a sampling. I went back to the website to see the box description, and no where did it indicate the possibility I would not get everything described on the pamphlet. When people think of a sampling, they tend to think of sampling sizes. My suggestion would be to put a disclaimer in the product description. If it is on the site, it should be readily accessible in the product descriptions so expectations are clear and slight disappointment is not met. It was a small item that I am not truly concerned with, however I was disappointed that my expectations were not met and my experience was diminished based on this factor. Overall, this is an excellent box. Perhaps this feedback will assist bokksu in creating a better customer experience.

As someone who is a big cherry blossom lover, I knew I had to get this box. Cherry Blossom treats are my favorite thing about spring and always worth importing. I really want to review each individual item so here we go: The Sakura Rusk by Tokyo Rusk made me fall in love with the flavor of cherry blossoms all over again. It is literally the best thing to give to a person who has never had anything "cherry blossom" before. This pretty much sold me and made the box worth the price. And yet, the box just got better and better. Sakura Saku Saku Senbei by Tsuboya: I actually saved this 2nd to last (the Sakura Rusk was the last item I consumed because how can you go wrong with Sakura butter? Hint: you can't!). I was thrown off by the chili pepper ingredient, I'm not much of a fan of chili peppers or any peppers really. And yet I was extremely surprised. The chili pepper somehow enhances the taste of the cherry blossom!! Sakura is a very light and delicate flavor; like most treats in Japan, it's very light as opposed to the explosion of flavor found in western treats. I absolutely adored this snack because it made the Sakura flavor more dominant --which I always wanted to know what Sakura would taste like if it were a more powerful flavor and it is absolutely wonderful. White Strawberry: this isn't the first time I've had freeze dried fruit before. Growing up, I thought that freeze dried fruit were candy (well, at least in my house where it was easier to make). This tasted like my childhood and the white chocolate was just an added bonus. Rufeel Baked Jam Buscuits: I have a hard time eating pre-made tarts. There is just something off with the ones at the store. While it definitely wasn't one that has been cooling in the kitchen being guarded by the adults to the children don't sneak any, it tastes way better than anything I've purchased at the store. Ume Sable: as a child, my grandparents would always give my sister and I a tin of butter cookies around Christmas time. I would then personally go through the tin and pick out any one the ones that looked burnt because those tasted the best. That is what this cookie reminded me of. It's a bit more dense in terms of other cookies I've had -like most Japanese treats. It was good but the flavor was light and delicate and the cookie was dense. Pocky midi Strawberry Fromage and Languly Strawberry: 2 of the most easiest things from this box to get where I live in the USA. I buy these things year round and even give them to friends around Valentines day. I was excited to see them in this box. Tea; Ume Kobucha: I love this tea. It tastes like happiness in a cup (despite what my coffee drinking mother would say). I typically have to add a bit of honey to my tea before I drink it because tea is a bit bitter but I didn't have to do that with this because it was perfect. And apparently it can be served as soup!! I just can't choose a favorite, it was all wonderful.

I've been a customer of Bokksu since November 2016. I was so pleasantly surprised with the new custom box. It really elevates the experience! While it's expected that some of the treats are crushed along the way, the Bokksu team really outdoes itself with customer service, such as the presentation of the treats, the handwritten notes, and the graphics of the cards. As someone who has also lived in Japan, the combination of treats is truly a match made in heaven between authentic Japanese such as rusk, tea, etc. and American-familiar items such as Pocky and Kit Kat. I can't praise Bokksu enough - lovely, lovely, lovely. Can't wait for next orange box!

The founder answered all of my questions and was beyond helpful. I have already told family and friends about it and we will be starting a club to talk about the snacks.

I was so excited to try all these kit kat flavors that I have been watching other Vloggers savor for months! This box was worth it because most of these kit kat bars are unavailable in my area. I did receive the box with a broken seal and contacted customer service to verify that I had received everything. Their quick response was much appreciated and I was relieved that my Bokksu box was complete! I am very much looking forward to next month's delivery!

Yum, yum, yum!! Amazing assortment of Kit Kat candy bars. So cool to try the different flavors, and they're the perfect size for a quick and easy snack. Delicious and fun way to explore Japan's treats!

The box is adorable I really appreciate the tea recommended with the KitKat I've received. I wish there was a little more so I could share this wonderful box but all in all it's super sweet and I've recommended it to other people.
