I had a great experience while trying Bokksu for the first time. I was confused at the first about the variety of snacks but they all are up to the mark, I truly enjoyed my box.

Be aware of the small print: you may have to pay additional custom charges! Unfortunately I was charged 12 pounds because the last bokksu was over 2000 yen, which accrues a fee in the UK. It is a shame because the boxes are a great tasting experience and beautifully designed. However, they are not cheap and the need to pay extra is not predictable.

The box was appealing and exciting as I love to try different foods. I enjoyed reading the stories for each item.(Research nerd!) It was delivered quickly which was nice. I also ordered from another company around the same time and am still waiting not less than 4 weeks later! I hope the service and quality continues.

Boxes themselves are okay. My problem is that I tried to cancel my subscription a few months back, yet I'm still receiving boxes. As I am not at home when the Post Office attempts delivery, this cause problems - especially with neighbours who are getting sick of knocks on their doors asking to take the package on my behalf. Have contacted Bokksu twice on this matter, each time they assured me the subscription was cancelled. The last time I emailed, they suggested that the July box that was en route (I get a text msg when the box is posted) isn't actually from them and I'm confused. I'm just about to photograph the box (which is indeed an orange Bokksu box) and send a copy of the text (which is from Royal Mail saying I have a parcel arriving from Taing Danny, Japan) which will hopefully convince them to investigate why this is happening, rather than sending me rather terse emails.

Best gift ever. I sent to my Dad for 3 months and he loves every single treat. He traveled to Japan throughout his career, now being 80 and retired it is a nice reminder of his time there. He loves the surprises. Takes photos and tells me each day what he tries. I will continue for months to come.

This box is pretty great, it comes with a bunch of unique snacks/etc that I never even knew existed.

I just received my second box and I love it. They pack so many interesting snacks inside that it's always a great time. Highly recommend.
