Bokksu Snack BoxReviews of bokksu.com

I love this snack box so much!My mom and I are so excited to get this box every month, it has a big part in making our month for us! 10/10 would recommend,I'm not getting paid to write this review either lol! I genuinely love this snack box, I let my cousin try it and she scarfed down the whole thing!

I was really excited to receive my first bokksu and the contents didn't let me down. There were a range of sweet and savory snacks and it also came with a book that stated where each snack came from. The shipping was pretty fast too. I would definitely recommend

I've been subscribed to Bokksu for a couple months now. Right now one of my orders is delayed because of coronavirus but I'm not worried because I've never had an issue before and I really love how transparent they've been about communicating with us throughout these delays. When I first subscribed I was between them and Tokyotreat (a friend had a subscription) but I liked that the Bokksu snacks are more premium and less like cheap chips and candy, and I think I made the right choice!

The best international shopping experience for snacks available! It is truly amazing what they can bring to your doorstep from across the world. For affordable pricing.

Fascinating snacks, carefully curated from the different prefectures of Japan, or else selected according to a theme. Good value for money, delicious flavours, often unusual for the Western palate. Alternately buy your own selected snacks from the Bokksu marketplace. Excellent and personal service, well worth giving it a try.

Loved it when I first started but my disappointment has only grown over time. My April Bokksu which was apparently shipped in mid March has not arrived even after 2 months and I have received no support aside from canned responses saying it takes a month for shipments to arrive. It's been 2 months team Bokksu, there's a reason I'm worried. I even renewed in March so now I feel like I've basically lost all that money. There is no sense of enterprise on part of the team at all.

Shady business practices. I'm disappointed by this company. Like all the others who have posted low rating on this website I too have been a victim of a surprise subscription charge. I reached out to support and all I got was a canned response telling me I agreed to all of this. I cancelled my subscription 4 months ago and thought that was the end of my bokksu involvement. The other day I get a notice telling me that I have been charged. I don't understand how my sub has all of a sudden been reactivated. I did a few monthly subs and CANCELLED it 4 months ago. Now all of a sudden it has reactivated without my knowledge or consent. I don't understand how this is possible. The account options allow you to skip your sub or cancel it. Logically if you skip your next installment (I was doing monthly) it would have charged me 2 months ago instead of 4 months later. So it must not have been"skipped" but reactivated. The company basically told me well this is how your account was setup and we can't help you. They offer nothing in the way of help, support or understanding. In the middle of a pandemic when money is tight and a $60 charge I can't afford and causing me overage fees now too. I feel taken advantage of. If you are considering purchasing from this company I urge you to look at the other negative reviews posted. You will see that this is the common thread linking all of them. Don't let yourself be taken advantage of by this uncaring company :(

I bought a subscription as a gift for 6 months. I cancelled my sub over 6 months ago. I woke up today to find an email stating that I've been charged and my order will ship in a week. Well isn't this a surprise...I contact support and explain that I don't want this and that the address for the gift recipient is no longer valid. I'm told that you agreed to the terms and conditions and since my order is already being processed they can't do anything. Which is sure strange as the email says it takes a week to ship from today. So great I paid money to ship something to a random address and the company seems unwilling to assist. I've used snakku before and would highly recommend them over this company. Snakku gives you email alerts a week out before you are charged so you have time to cancel orders in advance and imo offer a better selection of items. I'm unable to remove my saved payment method from my bokksu account and they hide historical account information so I'm unable to view my sub history. How in the world was the sub skipped for 6 months and suddenly charging me again? I know this was disabled. Buyer beware.
