Bokksu is simply the best. I received Premium Snacks with Premium packaging. Each box has a different theme. I can't go to Japan, but because of Bokksu, I get to experience Top quality snacks made by real artisans. My next box just shipped from Tokyo. Shipping is excellent. You get incredible customer service. Emails regularly, can track it also. I'm from Minnesota, US. Package arrived in protected wrap. No issues getting wet. The snacks are AWESOME!! Definitely a must.

I have had a Bokksu subscription for a couple of years, and I love the product. The snacks are fun and the accompanying explanations are interesting. However, every time I've had to contact their customer support, it's taken a week or two and multiple emails because they simply don't pay attention to what I'm asking. For example (the straw that broke this camel's back): I have boxes that ship out every month on the 10th. The last one I received was dated January 10 (it's March now). I contacted customer service to say I was missing my February 10 shipment. - The first email said, "We show the January box was delivered on Feb 4." I said, "Yes, but I'm looking for the February box." - The reply said, "We show you contacted us in April, and your next billing is in October. We hope that helps." I said, "No, actually I'm more confused. I just want to know where the box that should be dated Feb 10 is. Can you explain and/or fix the problem?" - The reply said, "January payment > February box August payment/order > September box September payment/order > October box" Still not an answer to my question. I've had to contact them three or four times, and every communication has been like this. It's so frustrating, and I've finally decided it's not worth my time or money. I'll miss the snacks. I won't miss the headaches.

I miss japan very much and bokksu brings me a little of the taste of japan every month to my doorstep. Delivery to Europe is now really quick about 10 days. The items I receive a really fun and I can explore new tadtes every month. The products have a shelf life of about some weeks to some month depending on the item. You don’t get a whole pack of all the products- of some yes of some just 2-4 single packs. Yes of course it would be much cheaper buying the snacks in Japan in the supermarket yourself- but we cannot do that now, no? So my bokksu makes me really happy every month.

I love how they have at least one tea and most boxes are traditional but some are traditional meets modern. I love how you get 10-15% off of the market place too.

This care and the common thread linking each item in the boxes create a sensational tasting experience, of a quality that is hard to match even when shopping directly in Japan. For more adventurous types, the Bokksu market offers the chance to explore on one’s own, eschewing curation for a larger choice. After three monthly boxes, I took full advantage of this opportunity, and I cannot be happier with the results. Great job, Danny! I have renewed for a full year and I look forward to the next boxes. Highly recommended.

This was a Christmas gift for our 11 y.o. A monthly adventure to Japan that arrives in a tidy box with booklet explaining what is contained inside! We love it! I tell her about the tracking and we await like another Christmas Day. The candy’s and snacks are all different from the usual. We choose one a day usually and try them, discuss them and rate them in the booklet. It’s fun and delicious. Some are sublime, some bloom in waves of different flavors as time (seconds) go by; salt, sweet then peanut butter essence for one. There are macha cakes that have a texture and flavor that we consume too quickly and immediately miss. Execution is to Japanese standards and wonderful by ours. There are also swing and a misses every once in a while. We bought the initial three month subscription and will extend indefinitely. That says it all, really, money where our mouth is!
