My first bokksu I got was amazing! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the snacks at first but regardless of that I was excited to get my bokksu. When I started digging through each one of the snacks I thought they were absolutely amazingggggg! And the little wrapping is so cuutttee!!! No exaggeration here x3. I’m very passionate about Japanese culture and treats and these taste great c:. Tho it is a bit priceeey but other than that I feel like bokksu is amazing, they never let meh down ^w^. If you liked to be surprised with one-of-a-kind, well crafted, rare Japanese snacks in a box once a month, you'll love this service. Yes, the service is on the pricey side, but the selections are curated with care and all the items are of high quality. If you have experienced even a taste of the rich variety of snacks available there, you'll appreciate what is being offered.

I love Japan, everything about it i want to experience it. Because i cant afford to go there currently, im always looking to try stuff from there, and then i came across Bokksu! There is only one word i can say about this box - Premium. Its the only type of Japanese box to the UK that i am aware of. Everything from the box, to the inserts to the snacks, are all very nice and well presented.... the only issue is the price, i still think $49.99 is still a lot for what you get, and i understand they come DIRECT from Japan, but for me its good to experience, but its one expense i'll have to give up. I would 100% say to anyone who loves Japan, or the thought of it, to at least try it at least once.

Best subscription snack box ever! Every month I always get surprised with new and different flavors. You get different snacks like chips, candy, biscuits, mochi, tea, and etc. Things are well packaged and kept nice and safe. Can’t wait for the month of February and March

The service is great. They truly do offer when they claim, HOWEVER, they have a truly scammy purchase policy. If you sign up for a subscription, they claim by saying "billed every 1,3, whatever months" that you are agreeing to have your subscription auto-renewed at that interval. They claim there is no such thing as a one-time purchase and will continually send you boxes and charge you at the interval you signed up for repeatedly. They also save your card information WITHOUT your explicit consent, this is not legal. This is how they are able to auto-renew your subscription over and over. There is not a way to delete your card info OR unsubscribe without emailing the company. They claim on their FAQs that there is, but in practice, those parts of the website mysteriously wouldn't load. I was able to get a refund by threatening to call my bank (implying a charge back or fraudulent charge on my card on their behalf) and telling them I did not give my explicit consent for saving my card info (which was implied I would also tell my bank). They suddenly were able to refund me after saying they couldn't and that this was a "one-time exception". They know they're breaking the law. Don't let them bully you. Email them, be frank. Tell them you didn't agree to auto-renewal (saying something is billed every 3 months is not the same thing as agreeing to auto-renewal) and tell them you didn't give permission to save your card info (I don't even remember the website even giving the option to consent to saving my card info). Don't let them take advantage of you!

Cancelling the subscription is very deceptive. I cancelled, only to find I cancelled the insurance, not the box, so it did not cancel and I was charged for another month. It is difficult to find the cancellation process and the web site takes a very long time to acknowledge. I reached out and they refunded. Overall, pleasant box but not a long term interest.

First time I bought a snack box and was pleasantly surprised by the variety in it! Came with a detailed booklet of all the snacks which was perfect.
