I can't believe I was sold a vacation package by these people. I called Choice Hotels to change an existing reservation and they transferred me to these people. They sold me a 3-night stay package for $199 and I should have looked into the company while on the phone with them to see all of the negative reviews. I normally think of myself as a smart person but I was definitely duped, lol. When I called to cancel, the woman on the phone kept pressuring me and saying "well people write bad reviews all of the time, why don't you just have your own experience?" yeah I'm not willing to travel all the way somewhere to be sold a timeshare with high-pressure sales tactics. I think if hundreds of other people write bad reviews, that speaks for itself. I had to set extremely firm boundaries with the lady on the phone. She kept trying to convince me to change my mind. If she really wants me to have my own experience with this company... I just did. With her. And it wasn't positive. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time.

My wife and I got scammed by a sales rep, we thought it was just a 3 night stay, found out it had strings attached to it. Do yourself a favor, run away from this company and don't look back!

I purchased a promotion vacation through Bass Pro. Two nights in a two bath two bed condo for $250. I was required to attend a two hr. presentation after the presentation I got two $75 gift cards. I was led to believe that I had paid for everything when I completed the sale. Imagine my surprise when my credit card was charged another $150 dollars an hour into the return trip home. When I called to find out about the charge I was told it was the taxes for the nights we stayed and was referred to Bluegreen vacations. The complaint representative at Bluegreen vacations went back and pulled the recording were I booked and paid for the rooms. After listening to the recording where it was CLEAR that I thought the taxes were already paid I was told that the "representative was new", I had not paid the taxes, and I "needed to be reasonable." I booked three extra days through Bluegreen that I paid full price for. This vacation company charged me what they called "Full Price" without telling me that taxes were not included in the "Full Price". This doesn't address the UPGRADED condo that I paid extra for. My stay at the D'Monaco was much less than expected. My first clue should have been when no one was there to check me in. I had to call to get someone to come check me in. My reservation was for two days instead of the five nights I paid for. Not once during the check in process was I told that taxes had not been paid for. I wasn't told about the taxes when I checked out because there was no one to check me out. There was a sign to call if I needed help. I called and got no answer. So I dropped the key cards in the drop box and left. Free breakfast did not start until 8:00 which meant you didn't get breakfast unless you slept in. One morning we left late specifically so we could have breakfast before we left for the day. There was no breakfast that day because the propane was out and they couldn't cook. When we were able to eat, the breakfast was pretty good. Each part of the facility has an unpleasant smell. The lobby, restaurant, room, and parking lot all have different yet still unpleasant smells. I'm sure the facility was once amazing it has run down and not been maintained well. The view and balcony were great. I would not recommend any Bass pro promotional trip or the D'Monaco and Bluegreen vacations.

Completely a rip off buy a 200 package to take a trip to destinations and call to book said my min yearly income didn't meet standards or a 600 credit score was required I did not give consent to run my credit or anything took off work and they lie such a rip off

Total scam. Straight out lying, shady practices, and lying by omission. BBB needs to investigate. They owe me a $199 refund for failing to deliver what they promised me at the price they promised me, and, after reading other comments on here, I can see I am not the only one. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Simply Google "bluegreen vacation scams" and you can see for yourself.

Steer clear from these swindlers in the Bass Pro shop! We were intrigued by the “free” 3 night stay as we saw St. Petersburg, FL as one of the locations. We told the guy we have friends there and he showed us pictures of the beachfront location. We paid $199 - was given a $50 Bass Pro gift card on the spot and was told we’d just have to sit through a 2 hour presentation and receive a $150 MC gift card at the end. I tried to book our trip but St. Petersburg was not one of the locations in the dropdown. I called customer service and they explained that location is more expensive than what we paid. They added a $50 credit to my account so I could book in St. Petersburg since I told her the guy at Bass Pro knew we wanted to go there but didn’t tell us it was more expensive. We received confirmation of our booking only to see we were being put up in a Comfort Inn hotel! I called again and told them we were under the impression that our accommodations would be on the beach. They said we paid for one of their hotel locations and not a resort. So they ended up changing us to a Staybridge Suites in downtown St. Petersburg. It was ok. There was free breakfast every morning and had to drive to the beach. Presentation day was a joke. We were greeted by our own personal sales rep who was overly nice. He brought us to the room to listen to the 2 hour presentation. Then we sat down with our personal sales rep again for another 1.5 hours. We should have said no right away but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and listened to everything they said. It was very intriguing- we were given a tour of the resort room. Another guy, the closer, finally gave us the numbers for different scenarios of the number of points we’d be buying. We let them know we did not want a hard pull on our credit report. After several attempts of giving us their “best” offer - and making sure we knew we could never be offered this “amazing offer” again, we again said we cannot do this. The closer, who was pleasant at first, got up and walked away without much of a goodbye. We told our sales rep that if we called Bluegreen tomorrow, with cash, they wouldn’t say no. He was shocked we’d say that and didn’t believe it. All I can say is: DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Keeping it very simple. Don't do it!!! They give you a 3 day 2 night stay at a 1or 2 star hotel depending on where you are. You put a deposit of $199. to guarantee you show up. You may have to pay for airfare to get there depending on where you're coming from. They don't tell you about the daily resort fees and the taxes on the hotel you have Pay in addition. You have to sit in a 2-hour + presentation. The agents are all super nice offering you everything but the shirt off their back. But then when you refuse or decline purchasing, then it's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They're no longer pleasant, they're just hurry to get you your gift and get you out. The gift was either a $200 coupon book to use or $150 MasterCard gift card. Then they tell you you can never do it again or come to see them again. Even if later your finances change or you change your mind. So 1. you end up spending more money traveling (airfare)to get there. If you're paying for airfare, 2. Then the additional fees for the room. 3. The company just got bought out by Hilton because they were getting sued review it and find the history of the class action lawsuits against blue green. The property we saw was a Sheraton that was being converted into a blue green resort. So, really if you want to save money on travel, book it in advance to get the better rates. It's cheaper than spending the minimum of $15,000 for the property and with the 19% annual percentage rate you'll end up paying an additional r $15,000 to have a property that depending on the points you have will depend on how many vacations you can take. So if you're going to pay anything from $200 to $300 a month for something you may be able to use two, maybe three times a year. It's not worth it. They need to teach their agents that everybody's not going to be interested and they should continue to maintain the same professional demeanor through the whole process. And when asked about how many people purchase with three groups of seven, maybe one purchase a day. So do yourself a favor. Don't waste your time or your money

100% Scam had a friend try to sell their shares and it was fraud all the way.
