I attended a BlueGreen sales pitch and did not sign up. The sales people are very persistent and convincing so you need great sales resistance to refuse their offers; be strong if you go. Once you sign up for the presentation, there are severe penalties if you don't show up, so don't change your mind about going. To me it seems like a Ponzai scheme. You pay lots of money up front for "points" that are not tied to any one property. You do not own a share in a property, You are awarded the same number of points at no charge, for all future years. You use your points to pay for vacations. The first year you get ripped off. What you paid for the points is twice what it would cost to pay for the vacation. About year 3 you start to come out ahead but this can only work if more folks put money into the system. The additional maintenance fees cannot keep this thing afloat. And remember you don't own any part of any property; just points, BEWARE

HORRIBLE!!!
When I signed up for the Ozark Mountains vacation, I promised all these different things. So when I went to book my vacay and asked about upgrading to a pet friendly room, I was denied and told there was no such thing. Their representative said differently. Now I want a refund and they are refusing. I was lied to and I want my money back.

I do NOT recommend!!!
I do NOT recommend that anyone even attend a Bluegreen Timeshare presentation. They will tell you it is no obligation but pressure you relentlessly until you give in. They had me in tears on my honeymoon! You cannot get help from their representatives and once they have your signature you are stuck. Don’t make this mistake!! Nothing is ever free no matter what they use to entice you to come to their meetings. You will pay in the long run and trust me the free stuff is not worth the time to be bombarded with salesman back to back until you say yes…..

Stay Away!!!!!!
Stay Away!!!!!!! Old fashion scam, time sharing, promises, lies, trying to overcharge you. Not worth it single dollar or single minute. Regretting from the moment we got confirmation that we are staying in low quality hotel, the date that we choose 3 months in advance of course wasn't available. If you don't attend their "meeting" they will charge you "full" price, and that will be like you are staying in "Four Seasons". One word - Disaster!!!
When you hear Bluegreen Vacations stay away!!!!

Blue Green Vacations is a complete scam!
I so wish I couldn’t even leave one star on here but blue green vacations completely scammed us. We purchased a vacation to the Ozark mountains in November of last year 2021. We were supposed to go on vacation in less than a month away. They just called us and told us we don’t meet the “qualifications” to go on vacation. Now you tell me this!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Not even to mention we purchased this vacation almost a year ago now so we cannot be refunded on the money for our “vacation” that we aren’t even going on now. And also they never gave us a password to enter the online website to see all of this stuff! Absolute crap! Don’t let them scam you!

BlueGreen Vacations are Unethical and Dishonest In My Opinion.
I had booked a hotel room and the agent I spoke to gave me a very persistent sales pitch about a "great opportunity" and I just remember him reading a long script and being over the top persistent I speak to this other department about the opportunity. I said yes. Pretty much because I did not want to be rude. I'm pretty sure these guys get some sort of incentive for the customers that sign up because of how persistent this agent was. The next agent was even more persistent when telling me all the perks of being able to get a 4 day vacation to all of these wonderful areas for only $199.00. I was sold. I purchased a package.
I now regret my decision. Bluegreen is DISHONEST. The American Corporations are not what they use to be back in my parents era because since Covid I've encountered a lot of very dubious behavior from some of the largest corporations. But I digress.
The agent did not inform me that I had to wait for hotel openings and that not all days were available. The agent also did not inform me that every single hotel in their list with the exception of one that was in Smoky Mountains had valet parking. The daily fees for the parking were up to $42.00 a day. And there was no choice given to the customer. You either took the parking or parked off site in a private parking area which was even more expensive. All the hotels were downtown.
This was materially important to the so called "deal" because when you add in the parking it is not a deal. You're paying the same amount for the hotel as you would otherwise have paid.
I asked for my money back because the agents never mentioned this and when I asked for my money back I was transferred to a fast talking, highly persistent, high pressure agent who did everything in his power to keep me in the deal. I still wanted my money back and bluegreen made it clear I would not get it back. They referenced the 14 day policy.
But at no point during the 14 days was I told the hotels required valet only parking and high parking rates. Bluegreen gave me an elaborate sales pitch which was quite long but completely left that part out.
Bluegreen is dishonest and unethical in my opinion. I will never do business with them or Choice hotels very again. Two shady companies doing business with each other.

I was a part of this time share for 15…
I was a part of this time share for 15 years. My family always went to Myrtle Beach for two weeks every summer. That's where we
ended up being talked into buying this time share. They promised we could use their condos anytime in Myrtle Beach. That never happened. They were always booked at all of the 6 condo properties they own. We ended up finding an amazing quiet property called The Island Vista in Myrtle Beach . All condos up to 4 Bedrooms on the beach. They were nicer than the time share. We stayed there every single summer. 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, lazy river, restaurants. The only two properties that we finally got into were The Fountains in Orlando. The property is beautiful. You will need 2 years to book. All Condos. The other was in Virginia Shenandoah Valley. It's beautiful mountains and woods and a horse farm. We stayed in the newer 3 Bedroom cabins. They were very nice. Full kitchen, laundry, 3 bathrooms, fireplace. A deck with a gas grill. They have Peacocks that come right to your door. I stayed in a 2 bedroom Yurt. That was very nice. It looks like a big tent until you walk in. You have everything you need. Full kitchen, 1 bathroom, living room, and a deck with a grill. This is a low key vacation. They have a big pool complex, indoor pool, miniature golf, lake for fishing with boat rentals, walking paths. I rented a golf cart for the week. The place is huge. They have campgrounds you can use you're own tent. They have a general store and a very good restaurant. We went there 3 times. I loved it. The other was Hershey Park. The condos had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Big kitchen, fireplace place, jacuzzi in the master bedroom. They had an indoor pool and outdoor. Small though. There is a train that runs right next to the location. It didn't bother me. The location is across the street from the outlets. There is a small Zoo you can visit. I don't believe in animal captivity but kid's will like it. Close to the park as well. We drove to Gettysburg for the day and we had lots of fun learning everything. That's all I have gone to during these years. I don't think it's worth it. The fee's you have to pay as well. There's no maid service unless you pay. I don't have it anymore. But if you do try those places I mentioned if you can get in.

BLUEGREEN VACATIONS IS A RIPE OFF
DO NOT let them waste your time or TAKE your money. They offer you these exciting vacations that when YOU have time to go they are booked and you cant. Then when you call them to get your money back because Vacations are planned on YOUR time NOT THEIRS they will not give it back. SO, unless you have $249.00 to just throw away, I would highly suggest you completely ignore their attempts to suck you in and steal from you! I am a single mother raising 3 kids on my own. This review is in hopes to save another single mom or a family that really don't have money to give to these thieves!! The reps are so friendly when taking your money but call for your money back they will hang up on you. (Real Professional Representatives they have trained) Bottom line SAVE YOURSELF $249.00 and THE MISERY!!!
