They pretty much force you to pay for premium if you want to get any appointment within 30 days, maybe more but the calendar won't show any further from that but when you use premium instantly the next day is free. The premium "lounge" is an absolute joke it is the same room as the waiting area, separated by a small desk. The whole place is smaller than my bedroom and the way it is set up makes it feel so cheap, the staff are very unwelcoming and it was not a pleasure at all dealing with them. For what is being paid especially for "premium", one would expect at least a half decent service. I think BLS offices need to have someone to make sure they are up per standers with what an applicant would expect.

we've been trying to get a normal appointment for a week(as a spouse of a UK citizen), via BLS london website and it seems like an impossible task. There's no available appointments, unless you go premium. This seems like a real scam, to make people go premium! If we knew this before , we would have planned an holiday to another country

Centre- Bls spain application centre London To be honest, i was expecting horrible experience before my appointment after reading too many negative reviews. It seems before they were not providing good service. So i booked appointment at bls centre for spain tourist visa and travelling with eu/eea family member. The checklist the agent told me on phone for application was correct. My appointment was at 13:00. Were 3-4 active desks. At reception the lady gave me token and checklist doc she was ok not rude or not smiling either. I got my turn at around 13.40 because 4 applicants were on waiting list And overall the transaction was very quick as well. The officer lady asked me to provide passport and brp residence card and photo And then she told me to give all the documents. She was giving me original documents back after matching with xerox copy also gave me back unnecessary documents. At the end she asked me to sign checklist paper and told me there is £39.90 to pay. £24.50 for courier special delivery £1.50 for sms alert and £13 admin fees i was exempted from visa fees as I applied spouse of eu/eea family member travelling together. She sent me to different counter desk for visa photo and fingerprints. Was big relief after the appointment as i wasn’t expecting such a smooth experience. Tips: Apply in correct visa category. Go through the checklist and make sure everything is in order. Do not panic. The staff is helpful.

I applied to Schengen Visa through BLS SPAIN VISA APPLICATION CENTER - NEW YORK. Even though I had very limited time before my travel, one of the employees of the center, his name is Mr. Percy, was super helpful, kind, patient throughout my application process. Even though it was the holidays time, the team printed my visa, and I was able to attend my travel schedule. I was deeply appreciative with the extra effort that Mr Percy put in. It was really kind of him and the whole team.. Thank you!

Very Bad Service, staff doesn't know what to do, sent incomplete papers to embassy and i got refusal because of them, they don't care just send your case to make their money only, dame care what is right or wrong never every again in my life. Ridiculous postal charges £25 just to send you documents back

I had a very bad experience today 22/01/2020 at 8h30 in BLS international Services Lts ,London. However the manager was very professional. My appointment was here at 8h30 and it said in the appointment confirmation to arrive 10 min before, I arrived at 8h26 exactly , the person at the reception said no we're sorry we open at 8h30. So I was confused, anyway he asked me to wait so I waited until 8h30 to confirm my appointment. When my turn came the asian guy who was in counter number 1 was so so rude in way that is really shocking. I don't understand how such a person with no manners can be employed by an international application centre. First of all, I'm a PhD student and an IT engineer so I'm very organised, I made sure to bring all the relevant documents following the checklist and I organised them in order. He started asking me in a very rude way like I'm someone who doesnt understand english or an uneducated person standing in front of him, asking me " Give me these documents one by one...and started telling me you're not listening...I'm saying give this...I'm saying do this... I'm saying sign here and write your name here...you're not listening " While I'm just opening and giving him the exact document he is asking for but I had clips on each document for organisations purpose, he started shouting " Take off the clips...quickly...you're not listening !" At that point I was getting impatient with his rude behaviour ; so I replied back to him to be respectful and dont address me like this...I asked him to talk slowly and be calm...Because he didnt want to stop. When I stood up to him then he replied I dont like your tone, I said I dont like yours either . He said you're angry just because you don't have completed documents which is not right. The only thing that wasnt right from his point of view is that the "sponsorship letter" that I legally signed from a solicitor should have been notarized he said. I said that it's signed by a legal solicitor and he replied back, your application will be uncompled but I dont mind if you would like to submit it like this. Another thing which is very very confusing is that on the BLS website they're saying that the documents can be either in English or spanish but when I presented the employement letter, that guy said no it has to be translated to spanish. But I proceeded anyway with the application. I gave 1 star because the other people from taking biometrics; fingerprints to taking a picture were very nice and the real person that I respected the most was the manager. She came in and asked if everything was fine , so after our argument, we were fine then, he started acting in a polite and normal manner after that, which he could have done from the beginning . Before leaving I explained the situation to the manager and she promised to take further actions. The manager was very understanding and very professional.

Upon completing my online application, I did not tick “SMS service”. At the appointment, again before paying I asked the lady if the total price included of the admin fee and courier only (I’m exempt of visa fee), and she confirmed it. On the way home I realised they still added SMS service to the whole thing. It costed £1.950 and did not make much difference from what I calculated before that so I did not realise it right away when I paid, but still it shows that they are definitely not honest people. If they really want that money just make it compulsory like the £24.950 next day courier already. Shake my head.
